Good location, property not great

We were three adults and a toddler that stayed in this property for three nights. The location the property is great, but it is very old and run down. The bathroom was terrible. It was clean to start with, but with no tap outside the clean sand off our shoes, sand easily tracked through the place and was difficult to clean from the house and bathroom. There was a smell of vomit around the kids room with the bunk beds. The midges are obviously not something anyone can control, but it made the stay quite terrible considering there were no fans and we couldn’t open any windows at night. We wouldn’t stay here again.

Rooms with a view

Beautiful view of the lake taken in from the super comfy armchairs. Enjoyed swimming, paddleboarding and relaxing by the water. Lucky enough to see a plane landing, the airport is very close but really quiet and not a disturbance at all. Short drive into town with loads of shops nearby too.
