Ardmore House Hotel

We would stay here again.

We had a lovely stay here for one night. Our room was small but very comfortable and clean. Our breakfast the next morning was great. All of the people we dealt with provided us with wonderful service. This is within walking distance of the Thameslink train station with about a half hour ride to the heart of London. We were favorably impressed with St. Albans.

Holiday Inn Express Cambridge-Duxford M11

Perfectly Placed for Duxford Museum Visitors

Room was quiet even with train station just behind it. Only the high speed express trains made any noise at all and they were greatly muted, not a problem for sleeping. Lighting in room highly energy efficient but not good for reading. Only chair in room not very comfortable to sit in for anything other than putting on socks and shoes. Only 2 miles from Duxford airfield, it can be walked easily in good weather, but cabs are available. Breakfast a bit thin. Pre-Elizabethian Red Lion Inn next door has excellent food at modestly high prices, great ambience.

Clarion Collection Hotel St Albans City Centre

Comfort away from home

I stayed here for approximately 10 nights, and each one was wonderful. My girlfriend was with me in the room much of the time, and it was great being able to leave the hotel, enjoy downtown St Albans, and return to the room at our whim. The staff was friendly, courteous and enjoyable, the room clean and comfortable. I'd definitely stay here again.
