The large amount of activities for kids and adults. The beach was a little rough so we couldnt swim much in the ocean. Pools were fun, food at the pool wasnt great, food trucks were better. Zen and Toro were delicious for dinner
Be careful at checkout they add charges to your room and when you want to speak to someone they say pay now and email them. Extremely unprofessional

This was our 10th anniversary. This was by far the worst trip we have taken. We stayed at the Hard Rock in punta cana. After we checked in, our ROOM was 83 degrees. Called the front desk, they sent 3 different maintenence workers and only got the room down to 81 degrees the first night. Didnt sleep at all. The next day we called again and asked to be moved. They said all rooms were full, they could not move us. We grabbed our luggage to check out after 1 day. Once we got up to the main building, they mysteriously found us a new room, after insisting IF we left, that we would not be refunded. The second room we got there and the air conditioning was off, the room was 82 degrees. The air would not turn on. I called the front desk and argued with the guy for 10 minutes about the air not being on, he insisted it was because the door was open. I told him several times, the door was closed but he insisted i was wrong and he was right. After 10 minutes, they sent someone down. Sure enough, it was a bad sensor. we could only get to 78 degrees, once, the rest of the time it was 79 degrees the entire trip. I am hoping i can upload photos of the thermostat which i made sure i documented several times a day. The staff on site was no help. We request a refund, requested to check out early and move to a different property. NO REFUND WAS ISSUED. WE DID NOT SLEEP FOR 4 DAYS DUE TO HOW HOT THE ROOM WAS
I must say, I was truly caught off guard by the Hard Rock name, since I stayed at other locations. But this resort was not worth the price, time, and investment. 1. You need to prepare because you will need to fight for AC. Hence, requested my room be changed after 4 repairs. 2. Discrimination is real here. So be aware. 3. Was provided courtesy voucher for the constant issues. Guess what they charged me for the courtesy voucher. I’m still waiting for my refund. Overall, I will not recommend this resort for the price they charge. I’ve stayed in other all inclusive resorts in Punta Cana, with better quality and high customer service standards. Please do your homework before staying here.
I thought the overall experience was great, I didn't like the sales staff trying to push a membership on me. Also, this is probably out of the control of any resort in the DR, but while on the beach I thought the number of vendors was annoying. I wanted to spend time enjoying the beach with my family and was constantly being approached to buy things.
So disappointing! Don't do it! Crowded, long lines to get food and drinks, rude staff. Water park just opened and already didn't function properly. Dirty diapers left places and not cleaned up by staff! Gross!
El hotel y sus facilidades son espectaculares, el servicio, la limpieza y el mantenimiento igual, muy buenos!! Tienen que mejorar la comida, mas que nada en Isla e Ipanema, Toro Y Zen muy buenos!! El desayuno deben añadir oferta!!

What I didn´t like was the buffet concept, I felt that I was not in a 5-star hotel, limited food options and on request from a counter, they should no longer limit guests so much due to the "covid"...
