1. Extreme Health and Sanitation Crisis
The level of filth and neglect was shocking, and poses a serious health risk:
• BED BUGS (With Evidence): The single most critical issue was discovering bed bugs on the premises. I have photographic proof of the insects and their waste, which I am attaching to this email. This is a severe, documented health violation that made the room instantly uninhabitable.
• General Filth: Beyond the infestation, the room was disgusting. The mattress itself was stained, the sheets were dirty, and the toilet was visibly filthy.
• Bad Odor: The entire room had a persistent, unpleasant, stale smell upon arrival that ventilation could not fix.
• Unusable Amenities: Even basic items were unsanitary; the iron and ironing board were heavily stained and unusable.
2. Fraudulent Advertising and Unlivable Conditions
The accommodation we paid for was not the one advertised, and the conditions were completely unlivable:
• False Photos: The images on the Expedia listing are fraudulent and bear no resemblance to the current reality.
• Undisclosed Construction: We were never warned that the resort is undergoing massive, loud construction directly outside our window, destroying any chance of relaxation.
• Total Loss of Privacy: Because of the nearby construction, we had multiple workers constantly looking directly into our room throughout the day. We were forced to keep our blinds shut 24/7 for privacy and security, turning our getaway into a dark, stressful cell.
