Important:
Live music from bar next door (11:00pm-01:30am) can make your nights very attractive and enjoyable, but if you are a very light sleeper this may affect your stay, however, my best recommendation to delight the gems of this amazing place and its surroundings is consider the use of earplugs and the double-double douvent windows that will reduce 70% of exterior noise.

condition of property

The roof top area was very dirty and not welcoming at all. The hanging chairs should be anchored to the floor as they tip over when you sit on them... luckily we only injured our knee and did not hit our head.. We had a terrible smell in our condo and had to have cleaner brought over to put in the bathroom drains... kitchen could have been better stocked with better frying pans.... view is great and location to the malecon is great.. dissapointing that the elevator only hold 1 person and does not go to the roof top...stairs are very hard to handle if you are visually impaired

Room review

Location was very good. The room needed to cleaned . There was blood on the wall , floor and carpet. The bathroom had horrible smell, which made it hard to sleep at night. The water wasn’t hot but tolerant. Our room lost power. Up stairs roof top was great.

**Very Disappointing Experience**

I had an incredibly frustrating stay at this property. Upon arrival, I immediately noticed a strong, unpleasant odor throughout the unit bathrooms. Then, the internet didn’t work at all, which was crucial for my stay and bedroom TV did not work. The co-host was able to establish the internet connection with a hard reset at my suggestion. I didn't feel it was my place to reset since password changes and such. Host also requested that we use whatsapp for correspondence. He deleted all messages. to make matters worse we got stuck in the elevator for nearly 30 minutes. It did not have a working call button and we were stuck between floors. We were able to get the door open to get cell phone service. When I reached out to the host to address these issues, rather than being helpful or accommodating, he became defensive and rude. I was threatened with having the police called on me simply for sharing my concerns. We were asked to vacate the unit immidately. Which we did. His co-host escorted us out of the unit while we gathered our belonging. Then had had the nerve to send fake pictures of damage. I'm currently working with Vrbo to get the money back. I have used this App for the last 6-7 years and never had an experience like this. I hope VRBO will help. I would highly recommend avoiding this host and property. There are far better options out there that actually value their guests' comfort and safety.
