Apon arriving we noticed the property isn't as secluded as we thought from pictures. Very nice A frame . We looked over everything and Noticed the Hot tub was slimy and not working properly handles that control the jets were broken off. Also the water was not chemically treated appon our arival . Contacted host and via text thru Vrbo app . They texted back saying that somone would contact me via phone call and no one called first night . So hot tub was inop . To make matters worst we lost power from apprx 8 pm untill 11:30 after more texts thru webisight we found out there was a power outage . We understand host had no control over . After reading another web text the host assured me a hot tub tec would be there fist thing and wasnt . So i texted again and asked again for a call . Finally got a text back saying that someone would call and Finally at 11 am the secretary call ( Very nice lady ) she explained to me that the hot tub tec would be here at or around 12 . Met the gentlemen and he felt how slimy and nasty the hot tub was.The only other complaint i have is about the BBQ grill it is in poor shape and missing parts the lid is not attached and the bottom is missing a part so hot coals and ash falls out of the bottom . Secretary assured me that the host would contact me . That has yet to happen. Communication is important and can make a renter feel better about a resolution to any problem .
