Review of Philadelphia townhouse
I vacationed with my wife and two 3-year-old sons to explore different child friendly activities in the Philadelphia area. This house, located in a neighborhood near the city's outskirts, was nevertheless a short distance from the routes and highways we needed to get to our destinations, no more than a 30 minute drive to the zoo, Please Touch Museum, and Sesame Place. Parking was on the street only but we never had trouble finding a spot, and the neighborhood while a little crowded but tended to be quiet. The house itself was quaint and comfortable, and conveniently came with a fully furnished kitchen (no dishwasher) and laundry amenities (I did not look to see if there was detergent, but we brought our own Tide pods). This was a great and affordable place for us to come home, rest, and cook a meal in between long days exploring different tourist attractions. If traveling with children, I would recommend bringing plenty of toys and entertainment, although there is a television with of streaming services to find a kid friendly movie. For very small children, it may also be wise to bring a door knob cover so they cannot open their bedroom door independently, as our little troublemakers would refuse to go to sleep or wake up early and wander downstairs on their own. In total, we were happy with our stay and appreciated the opportunity to spread out a little, cook for ourselves, and sleep in separate bedrooms while in our home away from home.
