STAY AWAY

Backyard is unkept and I didn’t want to be back there at all. Black mold in the bathroom. Very nasty and GREEN pool. We were unable to use it. This is the 2nd time we tried vacasa for our beach vacation and of course 2nd time they delivered a green unusable pool and nasty unkept property. We had to kill MULTIPLE cockroaches and I had to call customer service multiple times to get resolution for anything. We ended up cutting the stay short and renting a beautiful house with a ready to use pool at Navarre sands rentals! I urge you to stop looking at this one and go to Navarre Sands Rental. Diana is a great property manager for Navarre Sand rentals. It’s roughly 30mins to 1hr from this property and so worth the drive to have better place to stay!!!!

Over all it was a great stay. There are a few chairs that are rickety and need the screws tightened, but weren't really a problem.

Issues

This place does have a working pool and the backyard is nice space for dogs. It does have thorny seeds that get stuck in paws and shoes. There are also lizards in the backyard as well. Overall the property was clean and that was appreciated. The downside to this property is dealing with the property management company. Once I booked it on Vrbo another company called Vacasa took over. The problems started as soon as I arrived at the property on Sunday afternoon, by Wednesday I no longer wished to deal with them and by Saturday I was happy to be leaving. My privacy or simply getting notice that a stranger would be coming by was an issue. Multiple broken items either not working or working correctly at the property was an issue and did not get resolved by the time I left. Then getting billed extra money in the middle of my stay was just added aggravation. Especially since I could not get a breakdown of what I had already paid for or an accurate breakdown of the extra money I was told I owed.

Large clean home, safe quiet location

The house is in a quiet safe neighborhood and was clean, had all your needed amenities. Good location. Pet friendly with fenced in yard and quiet streets for a walk.

Large home and great location

This home was perfect for our large group and definitely probably one of the most cleanest I've stayed at recently! I always bring my own Swiffer to sweep first and then mop before we walk barefoot in the home and I'm always glad I did because the floors are always nasty but I can honestly say this home was a pleasant surprise and I didn't need to mop at all!

Wonderful Family and Pet Friendly Property

This house was perfect for our large family group for spring break. Had just about everything you could need. Check in and out was smooth and easy. Location close to grocery store (Winn Dixie) and close enough to public beaches. For cooking remember to bring your own seasonings-even salt and pepper. There are shakers but they are empty. Outside trash cans were full when we arrived but the next day someone came and put them out for regular trash day (we would have done it if we had known and that wouldn’t have been a problem). Pool guy came and cleaned filters one day while we were there. Hot water runs out quickly but no big deal. The house is nicely kept, had a high chair and pack n play, pool floats, and box fans. The game room was fabulous for our kids. Plenty of space for card and board games. The kitchen was phenomenal for cooking with the giant island. Super pet friendly with a fenced backyard! We will stay again if it’s available for our next trip!

Great Stay

I stayed her with my children and extended family. We were a group of 12. We only stayed 2 nights and didn't use the pool because of the cold. The stay was wonderful. I took the advice of other reviewers and brought extra tissue, paper paper, and dishwasher liquid. The house was large enough to accommodate us all. It was clean and just as pictured. We plan to book this place again in the future.

Wonderful family place!

This place was definitely one for the books! It was wonderful all around. The pool was of course cold because of the time of year we stayed but the kids still enjoyed it with no problem and we lit a fire in the fire pit to warm up by. We got to see the blue angels fly over. Everyone wanted to play the games in the game room area! The location was amazing, Lillian’s pizza is a highly recommended place by us, we purchased a lot one night and it was delivered quickly and was absolutely delicious. We also were able to go out around the town and go to places such as Flora-bama since it was about 10 minutes away. Wild Greg’s saloon was a hit and about 20 minutes away. We went to Johnson’s beach right down the road which is a state park and is $25 for a full weeks access and is free for military. It has huge pavilions, showers/running water, nice white sand and semi exclusive, with parking less than 100 yard walk to the water. In the house everything was made up and ready to go for us with clean linens and towels. We were able to do laundry and dishes while on our stay. With a large family of two adults, four kids, and Nana the house was a perfect size even with brother and his friends coming over. With small kids we enjoyed the fact there is a high hair and pack and play for use if needed. We loved that there are silverware, glasses, plates, bowls and other utensils needed to cook our own. The grill was great to have along with the grilling utensils needed! We thought about bringing our own but glad we didn’t since they were there for us to use already. Everything was very well kept and clean.

Grande refresher

The interior of the house was impeccably clean! The furniture was nice. And we liked the layout of the house. The bunk room was perfect for the 3 teenage girls. And the other rooms were very comfortable. We really enjoyed the pool because the beaches were a no-go due to all the seaweed. Location is perfect. So close to everything we wanted to do around town and on Perdido Key.
