First room we were put in was right next to the elevator. Sounded like a screaching freight train every time the elevator moved, which was every 20-30 seconds. Requested to be moved which we were. Rooms were not very clean, dirty blood stained sheets, floor was filthy, bathroom fixtures loose.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating but the hotel is worn and needs new trim, paint and tile in the rooms. Free breakfast for Hotels.com bookings. The price and proximity to Universal is why we chose this location. $6 Uber to the parl or a 15 minute walk or a once a day shuttle at specific times.

Check in was smooth & fast. Front desk was polite & helpful. Shuttle to Universal Studios was a bonus, saved parking cost. Breakfast was very good although same items were repeated in both days we stayed. Only negative was that the room wasn’t cleaned every day & towels were not changed: Room was clean & beds were comfortable. Will recommend others.
