International Palms Resort Orlando

The location is great because it's right on international Drive and less than 2 miles from Universal Studios. Rooms are of adequate size! Affordable! However, the towels were exceptionally rough... and I wish we wouldn't have had a room on the 14th floor since once of us is greatly afraid of heights and it was windy.

This room was rated 3.1 on Orbitz. In my opinion it was hardly a .5. The office was driving distance from the actual room, I was charged $14 in "fees" (not sure what they were for), the inclusive breakfast meal ticket was not ready when I checked in at 6pm (I was told to come back the next day, had to drive back to get it). Room smelled musty, bathroom shower was moldy and handles were loose, coffee maker didn't have a basket to hold grounds, TV remote wouldn't change channels, desk chair was broken. Drove to the office to by a beer and no one was at the register. I had to find someone and she said the cashier machine was broken. She had to use a calculator to cash me out. Breakfast was terrible (fake eggs). I ended up eating just toast. Parking lot had a huge pot hole and I had many trips back and forth from my room to the office. This was absolutely the worst place I have ever stayed!

We stayed in the Tower 14th floor. The hotel is open which was nice, I was not a fan of being in the 14th floor it was kind of scary all the way up there specially from the inside of the hotel. We stayed 5 nights and our first night the beds were not made, the room was clean but that is because we kept it clean it was just my husband and I so we didn't make mess at all. Its not a bad hotel for the price.

Great location. Good value. Decent property overall. Horrible, hard, uncomfortable mattress though.

In a great location. Good breakfest and the staff were great. The room was big and clean. House keeping was great too came back to the room and found the bed done and fresh new towels.

The pictures dont look anything like the hotel. Although the location is great, blocks from Universal, Fun Spot, and other places, the hotel itself was greatly dissappointing. We spent 30 minutes in the room. Fire alarm started to beep from low battery, heavy water damage on ceiling, and as we we're leaving, found a few fire alarms hanging off the wall with electrical tape. Being on the 14th, floor, not so comforting.

The pool was the nicest feature I think the furniture in the room was bought at a thrift store TV was left over from the 90s not digital If you laid in the bed you would roll out because the springs were shot

Booked to hotel because it was close to Universal Studios. The hotel is quite old and in need for a renovation. We didn't use any of there amenities only stayed there to sleep so it suited our needs. Over all it was ok to stay at.

Dirty hotel in short. Not worth to stay and pay 119$

convenient location but sub par facilities. Room was not comfortable and guests around were loud. Stayed separate from the lobby area so felt disconnected-not the feeling of being in a hotel

There was not hot water and we went to the front desk and staff member Virginia was mean and not too helpful. They told us because we booked though a 3rd party there was nothing they could do for us.

Too much noise in the others rooms, they didnt let me rest

On the morning of the last stay of our hotel we had bug bites on our backs, arms and legs. When we investigated more we found live bugs under the sheets and an infestation under the mattress with even larger bugs. Management couldn't have been more rude and still haven't called without me calling first.

The room was dingy, not very clean. The interior corridor walkway was disgusting. I can't tell you about the ammenities because we never went to the pool or anything. Parking lot could be lit more. Breakfast sucked & don't recommend buying it or anything.

First day not to well, very noisey neighbors, not only occupant too complain thought. Had to be upgraded, but staff did this no cost to us. Once at the towers it was lovely, and very quiet, beautiful views of the city. Nice and clean would stay at towers again. Food not bad, but restaurant not opened had to go elsewhere to eat. When we were relocated to towers staff moved all our luggage to new room and we went for the day when we came back just had to pick up key and go to new room. Very courteous. Laurie was the best she was very easy to talk to and made changes for us no problem. Always a pleasure Laurie.

The hotel is very clean for a pet friendly hotel. The hotel staff they're super friendly and welcoming. The staff is very efficient and professional in handling situations.

We only stayed a day so we did not see the whole hotel. My first impression was not great.

This place was so disappointing! It looked so much nicer in the pics looked nothing like what I saw online in person! The room smelled, there was hair in our bed and the shower was a nightmare to use as it was either freezing cold or piping hot! Do not stay there.. Sheraton Studio City is right up the street and only fifty dollars more and well worth it! This place was terrible

nice hotel but after the 5 day began to have problem with the hot water but overall one nice place to stay

The hotel is marginally acceptable as a place to sleep, but is not a place where I would want to spend any time. The facility overall is dated and needs to be remodeled. The furniture in the room is also very old and needs to be replaced. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking to go to a resort location and enjoy a nice experience.
