_**NO PARTIES**_ **:** What keeps guest coming back to us is the peace and
quiet they get from being on CANAL WAY. We would like to keep it that way.
We don’t want to spook the fish.
The CANAL COTTAGE is a fisherman getaway spot right off the RIM CANAL. You
can use the boat ramp 4 minutes away at the BUCKHEAD VOLUNTEER Firestation.
It is also a 4 minute boat ride to the cottage. Boaters are welcome to tie
their boats out back to our fence. Many of our guest are fishermen looking to
take advantage of the location to fish for BASS and SPECK. We help host many
fishing tournaments throughout the year. The Lock out to the lake is a 5
minute boat ride away. Once out on the lake the true adventure begins.
The cottage has a Billiards room with a TV so you can practice your skills and
spend some quality time with your family.
What we have here on Canal Way is a quiet place you can call home while you
are here. We ask that you don’t play loud music past 6pm.
**PROPERTY IS BIG ENOUGH FOR YOU TO PARK YOUR TRUCK AND BOAT TRAILER.** You
can connect your boat battery trickle charger to a wall outlet under the
carport. No worries about that.
This property is 15 minutes from Downtown OKeechobee where you can enjoy many
restaurant options and antique stores alike. There is also a handy Sunoco gas
station just a 3 minute drive away. The dollar Store is a 5 minute drive
away and they have a large variety of items as well.

Great location easy access. Plenty of room for bass boat and access to power to charge batteries. Property was clean and the owner was very friendly and accommodating to my early check in request. Beds were very comfortable. Will be staying here again for sure!!

Painless Service!
Absolutely painless renting this property, Julio was more than available with multiple options and awesome advice. The host Joyce next door was also super helpful too! Great for fisherman trying to stay close to the lake.
