I have stayed in Extended Stay Hotels throughout the years and I never had a negative experience so I was shocked at the condition that this one was in. The bed covers were dirty and stained, the floor was filthy, under the beds was even dirtier, the drain in the bathroom was not draining properly, and there were no dishes nor silverware in the room and when I asked the front desk she brought one of each thing but when she realized there were 4 people in the room she said she was going to get more and it never happened. The stairs to get to the second floor smelled like urine and lo and behold I saw a few people taking a piss right outside. I understand that this has nothing to do with the hotel itself but if it stinks like urine they should clean it. On another stairwell there seemed to be a homeless person sleeping under it because there were several blankets and some clothes. My family and I are completely disappointed with the condition that this location was in and it is giving the franchise a bad name. Once more, I really like staying at Extended Stay Hotels and over a spam of 16 years that I have used them this is the first time I have such a terrible experience. Go to another location because this one is no good.
We booked this hotel last minute for a spur of the moment overnight trip. You get what you pay for, and we weren’t expecting much. Overall it was a standard, decent hotel room that served its purpose. The area was quiet and felt pretty safe. However there were a few disappointing things: the first was that we only had 2 towels, so went to the front to ask for more. The front desk staff member was on her phone and didn’t even bother to look up when we walked in. After a minute we excused ourselves for interrupting and asked for two more towels, to which she replied “we don’t have any” without bothering to get up and check or call housekeeping. After I showered, dried my hair, and got dressed I went to put my shoes on and the bottoms of my feet were disgustingly dirty. I had only walked barefoot inside the room, which tells you about the cleanliness of the floor (at the very least). They also offered free WiFi, but when we tried to connect we were promoted to pay in order to use it. Finally, they also promoted a “free continental breakfast” - which turned out to be a few muffins and granola bars on a small table in the room they called their lobby. Again, the hotel served its purpose, but we certainly wouldn’t stay here again.
When arriving to check in to this location we were told that the hotel was understaffed and would not have our double room available until 9pm (check-in was at 3pm) When I asked if we could have a different room to use until the room we booked was available the frond desk lady refused. After traveling all day the hotel should have been more accommodating to their customers since the mistake was made by them.
This hotel made was horrible. Price was jacked up for July 4th. Room smelled & bathroom had a very strong Urine smell. I could tell my room had not been cleaned. Pillow cases dirty, crumbs on floor & hair on sink in the very small bathroom. Customers were in line waiting each day because no one maintained the front desk. People hung around late at night between cars and trees, I think they were homeless. All the bad reviews are true. Water pressure very low in shower and it does not drain down. Went to vending machine to get a 16oz Doctor Pepper and it was $2.25 & it was flooded in that area. (Stay at your own Risk)!!!!
I travel from Rhode Island to Virginia (about a 10 hour drive). I got to the hotel at 3am 4th of July. I check in and when we get to our room. I notice the bed sheets had a lot of hair from the previous people and the sheets plus the pillow covers were dirty. I went to the lobby and the gentleman gave me extra blanket and pillow covers. He told me he wrote it down so they good room service my room. We went out for the 4th and when we got to our room late in the night, the room was not cleaned and the sheets were still there. I went back downstairs and informed them that they never cleaned the room even after the staff member wrote it down. They gave me extra blankets again and told me the room was going get service. It never did!😡
Checkin and waiting is too long... on the upside, the location is excellent. It is close to shopping and restaurants.
The price for the first day was 73.00 as expected The price for the next 2 days was 132.00 which wasn't expected.
Place was old, sticky, bed was hard as a rock, needs major upgrades. Laundry facility was dirty, expensive for a washer, dryer. The grounds we're not kept clear, trash build up, would not stay here again. You need to ask for everything, the grab and go was s joke, all the construction workers picked everything up . Sorry not good at all.
it was close to the place where i work at the room was clean the front desk people was nice and friendly
It wasn’t anything fancy but it was clean and peaceful for the money I spent!
Everything about my stay went well. I just wish there was a fan in the bathroom but its a great place for an extended stay.
Nice and quiet area, different variety of food selections and entertainment
I informed the hotel of my late check-in, I arrived at1:30am, after several calls and walking the facility. We finally found the night attendant doing laundry in an unmarked room (only with help of another person who was staying that night). The attendant would not answer his phone and the voice mail was not set up. Upon checking in this individual could not find our reservation and wanted to charge us although we had booked through another web site. Only pulling up my email on my phone convinced him otherwise. The room...well was just Nasty.
The hotel staff was not there when we checked in and we had to wait for them to get there, the room overall looked fine but it felt unclean
Noisy neighbors. Staff decided to scrape the sidewalk at 2AM. Shovel on concrete. not good. Parking lot was an ice rink. $5 a day for maid service. $5 for ice, $5 for faster internet, give me a break its all the same coming into the bldg. What were they going to do flip a switch to our room for faster internet?
The only thing I like was that this hotel is locate close to highway.
Staff is nice and accommodating even though it's a late check in. We book this hotel since this is the only available hotel in the area for ok price on a holiday weekend. The bathroom in our hotel smells really bad. This hotel is okay for only for1 night late night stay, not planning to come back here.
I enjoyed this hotel. Easy to find, friendly staff, clean room.
