Great being on the beach but...

Location: The condo was right on the beach, which is the only place I would want to be in July. Beach was nice, clean and the water was warm. There were no beach chairs at this condo- so we ended up buy cheap ones at Walmart. You can rent 2 chairs and an umbrella on the beach for $50 per day- no half day rates. Building: The parking was GREAT. The building is outdated and dark and dingy. Elevators are super fast and only had to wait a few times. Hallways were dirty with trash on the floor randomly. Pool: Dirty. Very cloudy. Trash strewn about. I preferred the beach. We did enjoy the hot tub 1 evening. Condo Itself: Upon arrival, we texted the contact and were granted early check-in, which was great and appreciated. We checked right into the room directly with the code provided. As promised, parking and pool bracelets were in the condo. However, the condo was NOT clean. We had to wipe everything down, vacuum, etc... the couch had pasta sauce or something all over it- so we scrubbed it down. When opening up the sofa bed- there was popcorn and goldfish throughout the cushions and the mattress- which we then washed down. The sofa sleeper mattress was terrible- not comfortable at all. The ceiling in the kitchen had food substance on the ceiling. Once we cleaned ourselves- it was ok for the week- but the place really really needs a DEEP clean. The balconies could use a sweeping or 2. I would not recommend.
