Bait and switch

It was a bait and switch. As we landed in Ca received message our rental was unavailable and another in its place. Replaced home was substandard. Carpet filthy, no supplies ie dishwasher soap, shower gel etc. rate on website was lower than we were charged. Asked for the difference of $500. No response from owner

Very bare bones

This house is nice enough and in a very nice neighborhood. However, it was lacking in some basics. We needed to purchase paper towels, toilet paper, coffee filters. Bedrooms had beds and that is all. At least needs a bedside table for phone, etc. Patio and pool were nice, but there was no patio furniture!
