I will not be staying at the Miami East again. I was there to celebrate my son’s 21st birthday. Now on the day of it was 7:30am and we were singing and playing a birthday song for him. Well security knocked on the door to say someone was complaining of noise. Ok I get it it’s early in the morning. Then at 8:30pm that night we were getting ready for dinner and another knock on the door from the security manager telling us there have been many complaints and we needed to turn the music OFF or we would need to leave the hotel. Well at 8:30pm in Miami that was just baffled to me. What is Miami good for parties right well NO for us. I did go downstairs the next day to speak with the manager on duty named Nicholas. He stated that this is a private but public hotel and maybe the way the security manager told me or choice of words was not correct. He stated that the guest who put in the complaint had left, I could play music from 8am to 10 pm and should have no problems now he was on duty. How dare them is there preference for some folks and not others. My thing is if you wanted quietness you should of stayed home especially at 8:30pm. You can keep your private but public hotel as I will be staying elsewhere while visiting Miami. What about all the noise and chaos we had to go through getting back in since they have parties on the 40th floor. Totally disappointed but my money is green like your private folks and can be spent elsewhere. The nerve of them.
Hi this property is way too overpriced. It’s in a nice area but I got seemingly the best room “king corner” and the lighting was horrible bathroom and walkway in the room was dim 24/7 and I used the light adjustment to no avail. I feel like it’s a nice hotel but everything is super expensive even after paying 2k plus for the room, paying 40 per person for breakfast, my room came with two drinks at pool (wasn’t told at front desk but it’s only beer) and so I had to pay for real drinks at the pool bar. I give this place a 6 and that’s only because it’s in the middle of high scale nightlife.
I found that most the staff were inconsistent with the facts and were always contradicting each other and left me annoyed and even over billed on a daily basis. I would not stay at this hotel again because of these reasons alone. I felt like the employees were also immature and quick to blame others for their downfalls instead of rectifying the issues. I could go into detail but why waste more time and energy. Then again, I find this type of attitude to be common these days with many entitled workers. I would also stay away from the fountain blue for similar reasons.

This was our second stay in the residence and the room smells like a kennel with urine. Everyone in our party was in agreement and that is unacceptable in a room that you charge such ridiculous rates for 1801 needs a serious deep cleaning

Great property. Modern and chic. Met all expectations. Great offerings and also in a great walkable area next to brickell mall. Will absolutely stay again.
I loved my room and view. The rooftop is absolutely amazing!! The pool area was not pleasing.
Negatives: We have stayed here twice-kids in the pool both times, running around splashing. Pool is not a party pool. Also pool has limited sun for tanning. Bar and staff at sugar are great. Views are worth the trip.
Everything was wonderful and would definitely stay again. The only thing I could say was the cleaning ladies could have done a better job. We didn’t get all of our trash taken out, and also did not receive wash cloths. Thankfully they gave us the replacement full sized towels when they came in and cleaned.

Unfortunately large congregations in rooms that no matter the noble reason become disruptive especially after hours to a comfortable in room experience for guests must obey by the noise regulations in place. We are truly sorry that this was not in agreement with the way you wanted to enjoy your stay.
