Food was a little pricey, but otherwise great time and location.

Nice hotel, excellent food and outstanding service

Had a great stay! Nice pool and beach. Resort fee included lounge chairs. Great staff --always helpful. Rooms were nice but small. The mattress on my bed was very worn on one half so I slept on the side that wasn't worn. I was a party of 1 not two so it wasn't a big deal. The food was great. The dinner menu portions were small but tasted very good. Pool side food and service was very good. They even brought food to beach. Overall I was very happy with the stay and would happily return.

Excellent service, my favorite place the roof top spa . The food delicious

My daughter and I took a girls trip to Miami and stayed at the Metropolitan by COMO. We couldn't have been happier with our travel experience. The weather was beautiful, the ocean breathtaking and crystal clear. There were so many activities and all within walking distance or a quick Uber ride away. We did a lot of exploring on our own and never felt unsafe. The shopping was exceptional. The staff at the Metropolitan by COMO was extremely friendly and helpful but not at all overbearing.

The meal at the hotel restaurant was exquisite. Plank roasted grouper. One of the best fish dishes I have ever eaten.

Pros: Location is great- just outside of the main streets further South by a 5 minute Uber ride away (Uber in Miami is very affordable, about $5-10 to get anywhere) Staff is exceptional, they are more than happy to accommodate their guests and do it with a smile. Pool area is beautiful and very relaxing. Would not recommend staying here with children as it's more so for couples and has a very cool and chill vibe. Nespresso machine in our room was a major plus. Cons: Unfortunately our bathroom had a really bad smell the entire time, not sure if the ventilation system was weak or if the water drainage was off, but it smelled like sewage.

The hotel is great, the only issue we had is that the valet parking is so expensive and the staff never had a hurry for bringing our car, we had to wait 20 min average to get it. The location is as far as a 30 minute walking to get to ocean drive, a little far for my girlfriend walking in high heels.

The hotel was overwhelmingly amazing. From the staff to the view of Miami Beach to the beautiful room. Staff members such as Chris, Brian, and Naiomie truly stood out. Overall the staff was truly outstanding. The food at the hotel was delicious as well. This was the best hotel I have ever stayed at. Job well done!

It has great pool& jacuzzi. it's location very good. It can access miami beach. I will recommand this hotel to my friends. staffs very kind& gentle.

It was a nice quiet hotel. Maybe a little bit overpriced. Not bad though, but amenities were only ok just a hot tub pool steam room fitness center. Not in best location, service was pretty good. For those looking for a quiet hotel its a decent option.

It's a great hotel if you want a quiet clean hotel . Not if your looking to party in the hotel

This hotel was reasonably priced for the amenities and location. Be sure to try the hydrotherapy pool and steam room on the rooftop.

Stayed for one night on a trip to Miami Beach and we were a bit disappointed, although our stay did end on a high note. PROS: Very clean room and great shower, nice toiletries, comfortable bed and nice robes. The pool was nice and very clean. All the food we had was very good, we only had lunch two days but I wish we could have tried dinner. The drinks by the pool and at the bar inside were great. The beach by the hotel is nice and not as crowded as further south, but it is close enough to walk to the main part of town. CONS: The service was poor/inconsistent at first, but I think maybe we were just there on an off day because the second day was better. When we got there, we went to the pool and were ignored and had to make up the chairs ourselves, and I saw others doing the same. It felt like the staff was concentrating on a few guests and ignoring the others because they did not appear to be understaffed. For example, I asked a waiter who went by bringing someone else a drink for a menu, and he said he would be right with us but never brought it. We also asked someone about the policy for renting the beds by the pool (two appeared to be empty) and he said he didn’t know if they were available but would check but never got back to us. The room was small and some of the outlets were not working so it was annoying trying to charge stuff. The room doors are heavy and loud, and we could hear every time someone opened or closed their door near us and this woke us up in the morning. It is absurd that they charge extra for umbrellas and this is not included in the $20/night resort fee, but the chairs are.

Better than we expected in every way. Amazing service and amenities.

The hotel is completely remodeled and is contemporary. All staff is super friendly and helpful. The menu and services are pretty pricey but that is the general theme for Miami and especially for the South Beach.

Hotel was lovely. Only one complaint: random alarm went off at 3am our first night with no explanation. When we called the front desk to inquire (alarm repeatedly said "Evacuate now!") the person manning the front desk was a bit snarky.

My wife and I had a great time at this hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and accomodating. We love the pool, the roof top hydropool, and of course the beach. Restaurant is great. We are definitely coming back!

Fun, modern hotel in a great location! Only downside was the pool facilities...not very nice.

Our family recently returned from a weeklong stay at Parrot Cay by Como which was so extraordinary that it left us devoted patrons of Como Hotel Group. In the weeks following our stay we must have told dozens of people how wonderful this little-known hotel group was. So as my husband's birthday approached I thought no better way to celebrate than spending a long weekend with our little family at the newly opened Metropolitan by Como Miami Beach location - just 15 minutes from our home. I booked our hotel room two weeks prior to check-in and requested a crib for our infant, and a small foldaway bed for our 3-year old son. (I might add that this was met with enthusiasm at Parrot Cay where we did the same thing a month earlier). During two weeks leading up to our reservation, I called not once, but twice, to confirm that this was doable. Both times I was told by reservations that they would "figure out a way to accommodate the request" and that it "should not be a problem at all." Perfect. The day of my husband's birthday we hopped in the car and made the short drive to the hotel. Upon arrival, the check-in procedure (with Diego) was rushed to the point of indifference - ID and credit card, sign on the line, here are your room keys - and just as we were about to be ushered to our room I had a feeling that I had better check on that spare bed. That's when Diego told me that there was no way the room would fit a rollaway bed. Why this wasn't communicated when they received the reservation or at any time during the two weeks leading up to our check-in is still unclear. So I asked if there was a larger room. "You have one of the largest rooms." Maybe a room with two queen beds? "None available." Can we upgrade? "The hotel is sold out." Finally I declared that my 3-year old son would just have to sleep on the floor. He shrugged in concurrence. Diego is obviously not a problem-solver but an obstacle creator. He was completely unwilling to come up with any solution to solve the situation we were in. We were then approached by another employee, Stefan, who took us aside and first and foremost apologized for the way in which we were treated and assured us that he would remedy the situation. He apologized for the miscommunication between the reservations team and the front desk. He showed us to our room and in a turn of events told us that it was "against the law" to put a rollaway in the room due to occupancy restrictions. Another crib was then brought to our room, which my son could not fit in. We informed the front desk that since they could not provide a bed for us we would not be able to stay at the hotel. My son is not sleeping on the floor. To add insult to injury, we were then told that since the occupancy rate was 2 we would need a separate room for the children. Yes, an infant and 3-year old staying in their own room. To top it off - the hotel refused to refund our reservation which was paid in full prior to check-in - nearly $700. I have never had a worse experience at any hotel in any part of the world than at the Metropolitan by Como Miami Beach. They have lost a customer for life. I will be sure to let everyone know our experience.
