After a $750 hold was placed on my card, I expected a luxurious hotel, room, and accommodations. I was sadly mistaken. The shower was dirty with stains. The tile flooring was filled with marks and rust stains. The area rug was filthy, and the beds were so low to the ground, it felt like sleeping on the floor. The hotel needs a major renovation.

They Guy In The Lobby Bar was not pleasant. Also the guy behind the pool bar discriminated my partner because of her accent. She was basically ignored and the guy went on to attend the other people there that spoke without an accent. Room service was poor, we checked in and the room had the clock set at the wrong time, floor was dirty, there was no conditioner in the shower, no body lotion and couch was not clean. They promoted a different breakfast online than was actually offered in terms of “Continental Breakfast “. They offer free Citi Bike rentals but don’t specify that it’s only 2 hours and must be returned to the hotel only. But The Pool was nice and the view was outstanding. ( The Irrigation in the plants outside are not adequately watered)

I used to come to this hotel once a year in the 2010s and it was phenomenal . I recently stayed with my wife and it was nothing like it used to be. The rooms have not been updated in 10-15 years as well as cleaned. Rust in the sink and showers , dust everywhere etc. the staff however is SO NICE and ACCOMMODATING. They upgraded our room to a suite that was still dirty but not as bad .. the overall property is just gross. Back in the day not just anyone could stay here not anyone and everyone is here. Smoking weed by the pool ? Gross. Millions of families with kids crying by the pool ? I get it but this resort was never like that. Food is always good but now a 18% service charge in miami ? Overall I would not come back to stay here due to the quality of cleanliness in the rooms and property along with the clientele of people.

They lied on me the day after check out saying we took patron, a Red Bull, and Hennessy. Neither me or my mom drink these things. Me and my mom bought wine and snacks from Whole Foods. I asked the front desk to explain what happened, they just said the housekeeper may have made a mistake. I demanded to know what happened, because me and my mom took nothing from that mini bar, and have picture proof as we took pictures before we left. I still don’t have my money back. Do not trust this hotel.
