Overall we had an awesome time! The place is huge, unique, and has incredible views. Like other reviewers have said it is an bit dated versus other options in the area but that adds to the charm if that's what you're looking for. There are some minor annoyances - very small elevator, few outlets due to old wiring, doorman does not speak any English, but the kitchen has been updated and we didn't have any issues with showers and appliances.The hosts were very responsive throughout our stay. Overall great experience!

Skip this place for sure

Horrible problematic host that is scamming users. Property is not only majorly dirty and outdated, but has repeated issues with no hot water. Host knows the scam and knows how to work VRBO in their favor. We left within an hour and have argued with them for weeks. NO HOT WATER at the property. Save yourself from the drama, alot of nicer places just down the street.

Pros: Location is perfect. Right off Main Street in Polanco so extremely convenient to restaurants, shopping, etc Excellent view since it’s a 13th floor rooftop penthouse. Spacious in all rooms on one level, and living space on 2nd level also spacious. Elevator opens right up into penthouse. Cons:VERY dated. Keys only open one penthouse door, and elevator wasnt working one day so we had to leave other door we don’t have key to open, which means anyone could have access to our place from elevator. A lot of the linens (towels, sheets, pillow cases are all stained and almost grey in color. Very old. Really need to switch up and throw away old lines. No hot water in any of the 4 showers. Despite complaining to host on day 2, problem was not really fixed till 24hr before our departure. So we got 1 hot shower during entire stay. Apparently they knew about this prior to our arrival and still did nothing to fix it. Jacuzzi in master bedroom had dirt stains all over it. Living room shades can’t come down so the afternoon heat everyday baked the living room so we left everyday in afternoon to avoid heat. Refrigerator had not even been properly cleaned. Was moldy vegetable remains still on shelves. Kitchen faucet is completely broken and likely has been for quite some time. No safes. Overall: love the location. If you want a place to just sleep and nothing further, I would recommend. Otherwise needs some upkeep from owners to clean it up to improve overall quality.

Amazing property

Stayed with 5 friends and we were thrilled with the property. The views are stunning. The rooms spacious and clean. We loved beginning every day ands ending every night there. The location is fantastic. Central. Not super touristy, which we like, so you’re in the real Polanco neighborhood. Would definitely rebook.
