This property was beautiful, immaculate, comfy and cozy. 8 of us stayed here and it was incredibly well appointed, with games, books, a game room which was heaven to our eight year old, and a living room, kitchen space and den that were the perfect size. A truly gorgeous home, a very responsive and helpful host, great location and well stocked home away from home. Loved the fire pit area and the dining room overlooking the leafy backyard and swing.

Fantastic spot with a great location for a family reunion (baby under 1 included!). Everything was as advertised. Highly recommend.FYI for anyone who is wondering: the backyard is not fenced in for pets, and the river is across a busy road. It wasn't a problem, but these were things I was wondering before I went and figured it would be helpful to anyone wondering the same!

This place was a gem! It was the perfect place to stay on a short Ohio roadtrip before our son went back to school. We have always loved this area. Mohican has so much to do outdoors. But I think my wife and son would have been happy to have just spent a few days in this house playing the arcade games and relaxing amongst the thoughtful decor and well placed furniture. Well done interior designer. The three of us played X-Men together every night. Flashback to the 90’s, I loved this game back then. Touché on the shuffleboard as well. This was a lot of house for 3 people, but we loved every bit of the extra space. We will circle back on this spot in the near future.

This was a beautiful home on the river! My family and I come to Loudonville every year to float on the Mohican river and this home was by far the best place we have ever stayed in the area! The home was immaculate and had all the comforts of home fully stocked and ready to go. The outdoor space was quiet and secluded and felt like a little camp site and we loved making pizzas in the outdoor pizza oven as well! We made wonderful memories!

Family Hiking Trip

Our stay at the house was great. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to prepare meals. The bathrooms had plenty of towels. The game room was enjoyed by our grandkids and adults. The fire pit was awesome even though we could only enjoy it for a short time due to rain. The house is a short distance from Mohican State Park to do some hiking. I would very much recommend staying here and the host, Sandy made sure we had everything we needed to make our trip wonderful.

My Favorite VRBO!

This home is beautiful and so well stocked. We loved the game room! We enjoyed the firepit and would have loved to try the pizza oven but the rain and time did not allow. The beds were amazing, I slept like a rock! The room in the loft does not have a lot of privacy but we were able to make it work. I recommend a stay at this home. You will be glad you did.

Great house in Mohican

Our family of 6 loved everything about our stay. The pictures were very accurate, the home is as nice as the pictures look. We hiked and explored during the day and spent the evenings cooking out, sitting by the fire, hanging out in the game room, and playing board games. Beds were very comfortable and the home was very clean. We look forward to staying again!

Cozy Stay

Nicely kept home with plenty of sleeping space and a cozy kitchen. Garage was turned into a recreation room with old arcade video games. A fire pit out back was a nice place to spend an evening.

Fun family weekend getaway!

Modern updated house boasted a cozy, warm charm with something for everyone in our family. The private front room with a desk was perfect to catch up on emails and write a card while the comfy sofa provided a quiet place to curl up with a book and take an afternoon nap. Washed a couple loads of laundry in the well equipped laundry room that also serves as a 1/2 bath. My adult kids spent hours in the game garage reconnecting while playing shuffle board, foosball, and the arcade style games. We enjoyed cooking together in the kitchen and eating our meals in the spacious dining room. The bar cart was perfect for pouring an evening bourbon, wine and mixing a few cocktails. After cooking on the outdoor Blackstone every day, my husband and son are convinced they need one in their own backyard kitchens. All 4 bedrooms were spacious and oh so comfortable. Wish the weather was warm enough to use the solo stove/pit. Maybe next time. Host was quick to respond in VRBO chat. We were surprised that the river was in front of the house and across a main road. Fortunately, this time of year the traffic was low but I can only imagine what it must be like May through October. Not a far drive from hiking trails. We would stay again:)

Relaxing Birthday Trip

We celebrated my son's 18th birthday at this wonderful home. It is very well decorated and my son and his 2 friends slept upstairs and my husband and I slept in the first floor bedroom. We loved the game room and the cozy living room. The owner was very kind and responsive.

Simply Perfect

We had a group of 8 adults here to celebrate a 40th birthday. This home was simply perfect for our group. The beautiful furnishings and amenities were above and beyond our expectations. There was not one thing that could have made this a better stay. All adults slept great and felt that the rooms were clean and comfortable. I have stayed a lot of places, and this was by far the best one we have stayed in. The owner thought of everything! The house was easy to find and close to everything. We went over to the Castle for Christmas lights and dinner; the kitchen was stocked with anything you could need. It was a PERFECT weekend!
