Fantastic home away from home

This place was everything the listing described, peaceful, convenient and Fun! Our family had a great time staying here from the proximity to many things to do and see in the area but also the things to enjoy on the property. The pool was an absolute blast for our girls, the yard and patio area were perfect for relaxing and Roxy the dog was the icing on the cake.

Horrible Host

Host was terrible to work with. Has to many rules and requirements that are not listed prior to booking. Was rude and condescending throughout the whole process. He refused to modify the dates and was rude and unhelpful throughout the whole process. Once I told him that I was planing on reviewing his treatment he advised me he would refuse entry. I had to call VRBO directly and have them mediate to give me check in info. He finally did at 7pm on the day we were scheduled to arrive losing that whole day/night. Me and my husband didn’t feel comfortable going at the end of the day based on the treatment we received prior to our visit. Lost my money for the stay and he was not empathetic at all.

Great stay ... AGAIN!

Second time staying at property. Meets our needs very well. Clean, fully equipped (except for body soap), and very quiet. Roxy the yard dog was great, even with toddlers! They loved having her sit, shake, and roll over for treats! Will call again next time coming to Las Cruces.

Great weekend stay

Had a great time at the casita. The property was perfect for me and 2 friends in town for a weekend alumni event at NMSU. Theodore was very thorough in his explanation of the intricacies of the property. The casita was perfect, the hot tub was nice and we loved hanging with Roxy (albeit briefly). I would highly recommend this property for a weekend stay.

Theodore was attentive to all of our needs. We were a little worried of the overall negative connotations in his messages but understand the need for that in communication. The Casita was great but wish we could have seen more views of mountains but the privacy walls were too tall to see anything outside. All in all a great place though!

BAIT & SWITCH

They make it appear as though you are renting a mansion but in reality you are staying in their renovated garage with too many rules. The hot tub has hours of operation listed and grill is available on a first come first serve basis?? It was our wedding anniversary & we were forced to drink our fine wine out of miniature, plastic cups that possibly came out of a child's tea set. We spent one night & left first thing in the morning. A huge disappointment to say the least.

I am from Hawaii, my sister who resides in El Paso, Texas had tickets to the foreigner concert. We decided to stay in New Mexico for the concert hence why We stayed at La Casita. Our experience here was not only pleasant but extraordinary.. Added amenities of the Jacuzzi/pool, was a definite perk. And Trixie, their dog visiting us and guarding the property brought a home experience.

Cozy for the small family

The guest casita feels like it own place. It's distance from the main house gives great privacy. The size was perfect for us 4 it gave enougf room for the kids to play freely but never to be out of earshot. We didn't spend many hour outside but the property is beautifully organized and the pool is incredible. Roxy is a very friendly pooch. Thank you Theodore

Outstanding property

The home is beautiful. The host is very responsive and respectful. We spent a lot of time in Las Cruces with no stress about our stuff. It was a great vacation and a big portion of that was due to staying here. The host will send a very detailed set if instructions that help you get setup so read them when received. Thank you Theodore we wish we had more time at your wonderful home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We booked 17 nights and it was a great experience. The home and grounds are new, clean, and exceptionally well maintained. The hosts; Theodore and Rachel were very gracious and accommodating. We'd love to visit again!

Perfect launch pad for Las Cruces mission

We were staying in Las Cruces for some work at the Spaceport. This site was perfect. Clean, spacious and comfortable, true full kitchen (we like to cook!) Situated in very pleasant pecan groves. Hosts were kind, considerate and respectful of our privacy. We would gladly stay here again.
