The Sea Glass Castle - Family Friendly Townhome Close to Beach

Welcome to The Sea Glass Castle – Cambridge Cove at Bermuda Bay

This family friendly townhome is located in a community that features a mini waterpark (splash pad, lazy river, waterslide) and a clubhouse with a recently renovated fitness center, lounge and pool table. You will also have access to a pier located on the sound side that is perfect for launching kayaks/paddleboards or just admiring the sunset.

The public beach access is located just 1 mile from the townhome and offers ample free parking, onsite showers and restroom facilities. A paved walking trail will lead you all the way to the beach should you choose to walk or bike.

Nearby attractions include the Wright Brothers Memorial and several playgrounds including the Family Recreation Park. Jockey’s Ridge State Park, NC Aquarium on Roanoke Island, and Bodie Island Lighthouse are just a short drive away. Delicious restaurants, shopping, and grocery stores are conveniently located near our townhome as well. We would be happy to provide recommendations!

Castle Details:
*The main (3rd floor) living area* features an open & airy living room with plenty of seating, a smart tv with cable, assorted movies & family-friendly games. There is a deck located off the living room with brand new outdoor seating where you can enjoy a peaceful cocktail hour under the pergola.
The dining room table seats 4 and there is a bar with 3 barstools. Our kitchen features an electric range, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator and is equipped with pots, pans, dishes, glasses, coffee cups, silverware, coffee pot, Keurig, blender & toaster. A half bathroom is located off of the kitchen as well.

*The 2nd floor* features two master bedrooms and the laundry closet, available for guest use. Laundry detergent is not provided.
The front queen bedroom has a smart TV with cable, dresser, closet space, and the en-suite bathroom has a single vanity, toilet, & walk-in shower. Sheets, bath towels, hand towel and washcloths are provided.
The back pyramid bunk bedroom has a full-size mattress with a twin on top, smart tv, dresser, closet space, and the en-suite bathroom has a single vanity, toilet, & shower/tub combination. Sheets, bath towels, hand towel and washcloths are provided.

*The ground floor* features the garage which accommodates extra storage for your beach gear and two kayaks available for guest use. Parking is available in the driveway, garage and in any visitor designated parking spots.

**Pool season 2024: May weekends (3-5, 10-12, 17-19) & May 24 – Sept 30, weather permitting. Please know that pool operating dates are subject to change at any point, for any reason.**

Check-In begins at 4pm. You will receive a keyless code prior to your check-in to gain access at that time.
Check-Out is 10am.
The vacation home is air-conditioned and features a kitchen, 2.5 bathrooms, and a balcony, and there's space to spread out with 2 bedrooms. Guests can enjoy a Smart TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a coffee maker, and a dining table.

The location of this property was perfect for our Outer Banks' stay. The property itself was fine. As far as cleanliness, there were fingernails left on a side table. The ceiling has clearly sustained water damage, but that did not affect us. Overall, it was as described. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our time in the area.

This townhome was great for us and our teen boys! They loved the pool and the clubhouse where they could shoot pool. Our favorite part was the sound pier! It is a hidden gem! I would highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful stay!

We absolutely loved the property and its proximity to everything we wanted to do. The pool area was an amazing bonus for the times we wanted to get some sun but needed a break from the sand. Friendly and quiet neighborhood. The spaciousness of the rental made it easier to get the time and space we needed to relax. And so many balcony options! Will definitely be back !

Highly recommended! Terrific central location close to several good beaches and restaurants. The complex has amenities like a pool and splash pad that were nice to have for a relaxing afternoon. Our 3 yr old enjoyed the pool area as well.

Shared a room with our toddler- so there wasn't much sleep to be had. The pack n play really only worked in the bunk bed room. I think investing in more comfortable mattresses, and better bedding-specifically pillows, would be much appreciated by renters. Living space is on the 3rd floor- so we were up and down those stairs a LOT. The items provided for beach/pool use were great. The pool was amazing, and perfect for our toddler and kids in general. Public beach access is directly at the end of the street with:handicap access, restrooms, and showers to rinse off bodies and feet- which is great! Keycode to get into the house is located on 2nd floor- it would be a lot nicer if there were one located on the first floor door instead/as well, so that the property can easily be accessed from the driveway and items can be loaded and unloaded easily into the foyer.

Wonderful family getaway

This is our second stay at The Seaglass Castle and it was just as great as last summer. This property is the perfect place for a family to rest, reconnect, and rejuvenate. It is perfectly located to great food, perfect beach access and lots of fun family activities. The complex is colorful and fun and the pool is a hit with all ages across the family. The owners are easy to work with and show true hospitality to the guests in their home. We are looking forward to another repeat return next summer!

Great Location

We enjoyed our stay and really enjoyed the pool, especially my 5 year old. The place was really clean and had everything we needed. The location was the best part! Our only complaint is the beds. The front bedroom bed was not comfortable at all. I tried moving to the bunk beds with my kids but anytime anyone moved the bed squeaked so it was hard to stay asleep.

Amazing stay at Seaglass Castle

This was our first trip to the OBX and we are hooked! We will 100% be returning and would love to stay at the Seaglass Castle again! The house was well kept and fully stocked with an added perk of plenty of recreational toys. The fishing pier and pool were a bonus for our family. Amazing OBX vacation!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in OBX. Sydney and Stefan were great hosts, and their place was very comfortable for my family.
