Hotels with Balconies in Key West Historic District, Key West

"This place is ridiculously overpriced for the quality of service and accommodation provided. Here are just some of the issues I experienced during our 5-day stay: The bathrooms have those barn doors that slide to close but don’t provide the necessary privacy. In the first room we were given, the door didn’t close properly leaving a significant gap through which you could see a person sitting on the toilet. We asked that they move us to a different rooms but the only other room they had available had the exact same issue. The staff member who took us there tried to fix it and further broke the door. I had also specifically booked a room with a balcony on an upper floor and they gave us a ground floor room with a tiny little patio right behind all the chez lounges by the pool. The actual rooms are quite outdated and in grave need or renovation. Our shower did not drain properly, creating a little puddle every time we’d take a shower. The internet is very slow and only works semi-well in the rooms, not in the common areas or any of the restaurants/bars. The staff is also not particularly friendly or helpful, which makes everything that much more frustrating. Finally, they boast about the beautiful views from their boardwalk, but most of the time, there are giant cruise ships parked out front blocking said view. All in all, at $700/night this place is a complete ripoff and you are better off spending your hard earned money somewhere else."
