The restaurant was amazing. The hotel was way below expectations. We had 2 rooms, room 1 didn't have any hot water and we were given another room on day 2. Room 2 didn't have any heat and we were there on the coldest day in the last 5 years; it was in the 50s. They sent a maintenance person that determined the heating/cooling unit was indeed broken. When I requested a new room with heat the next morning, I was told by a very rude front desk person that none of the rooms had heat; it is Key West after all. She then insisted on sending another maintenance person to check the unit. It was confirmed to still be broken. After, we verified that the new room 1 did have heat and it was working properly and reported this back to the front desk personnel who after much back and forth finally agreed to move us to a new room. I have never been treated so poorly by the front desk staff as I was treated at Pier House especially where the resort charges are excessively high. I will never return to this second rate hotel.

First time staying at Pier House. We really liked it. We felt that it was more chill than some of the other resorts we’ve stayed at. We stayed in the spa building which was quiet. Nice big room and bathroom. Food was really good at the beach bar. Had a lot of fun hanging out in The Chart Room every night. Didn’t get to take advantage of the pool or beach due to the weather. Looking forward to coming back again. Thanks for the early check in and late check out!!

For the cost this was very disappointing. There was mold and bubbling on the ceiling in the bathroom and everything seemed very old. The pool was also very dated and dirty. We stay in Key West often and I would never recommend anyone to stay here for the cost.

No hot water in the shower for our entire 4 nights. We let the front desk know three times and it was never fixed. No hotel staff ever follwed up with us and barely warm showers where you’re freezing with goose bumps isn’t acceptable anywhere but especially on a holiday weekend when rates are over $700 a night.
