My husband and 3 college age sons had a great week on 32nd avenue! Upon arrival, the house was very clean. It’s also nicely updated and very comfortable. I was glad to see 2 couches in the family room instead of only one which is what’s pictured.
We usually rent beachfront condos and enjoyed having a house this time. The pool was clean and our family enjoyed having the extra space in the sizeable backyard to toss a football or play cornhole. There’s also a nice backyard shower. So even though there’s only one full bath; half the time one or more son showered outside. The description of distance to beach was very accurate. The house is 1 1/2 blocks from the main beach road. Cross the road and hit the Sandy trail to the beach. It was about a 5 minute easy walk with chairs and beach gear or a 2 minute bike ride. Granted we had 5 adults. If you have small children; you might want a beach wagon but otherwise, the beach access was close and easy. Great neighborhood. Quiet.
We also LOVED the IOP recreation department. They have great basketball, tennis and pickleball courts that are also lit until 10 pm.
Great week! We’d do it again for sure!
Ate out at restaurants in Mt. Pleasant, downtown Charleston and Sullivan Island. But did cook 3 meals and the grill was in good shape.

Cute beach bungalow
We had a great stay at this house over the weekend. It's a few blocks from the beach access and a great location on IOP. The house has been updated and has everything you need. The propane for the grill was full, K-pods were available, toilet paper, trash bags, etc were all stocked as well. The beds are super comfy and the sleeping porch is actually darker than I thought it would be. Only thing I would mention is that the pics online had 2 twin beds but they had bunk beds instead for that room. We would definitely rent this house again.

Got this place last minute, one of the few left. I was aware there was some construction in the backyard, however I didn’t expect there to be a giant hose crossing the driveway and walkway to the house. Halfway through the trip hose came disconnected which caused the front yard to turn into a lake. Husband called emergency maintenance line of rental agency and no one called back or showed up. Probably not the best time to rent your house out.
Also no special place, one of the bedroom ceiling lights did not turn on, one of the window blinds just randomly fell off the window, other
did not even roll up, foul stench in kitchen/hall bath area, cracked windows with tape..
My opinion, rent elsewhere this place is not worth it
