Hontoon Island State Park Vacation Packages

Probably the best hotel for this price range. I didn’t have high expectation when booking, but the cleanliness and property condition is way above my expectation. I like how they make the window tinted for one way view so during the day you can open the blinds without worrying that people can see inside the room from outside.

This is the place to stay if you want a real feel for the warmth & charm of St.Augustine & its people instead of a cold impersonal hotel. The staff provided wonderful support in every need of our visit. Their breakfast & coffee are excellent and will accommodate any request if possible. We stayed 1night for the Christmas Nights of Lights and I can safely say that we will be back. The plus side, the beach is a five walk from the hotel. At Checkout, Selim was so gracious and lovely. We will be back in the summer for sure.

Always a good time at Westgate Resort

We took our 3 year old nephew here and he had a BLAST! There is so much to do, we didn’t leave for 2 of the 3 days that we stayed. He’s about 42 inches which got him on most of the slides but not all. Keep size in mind when booking for little ones because if they’re under 40in they’re limited to the slides. He was a little bummed that he couldn’t do the pirates plunge (biggest slide) but there were enough distractions that it didn’t matter. Also, the lazy river is great! Just be careful with the big kids, they tend to knock the little ones over or into the wall because they’re just running through it. The water park is an extra fee FYI There’s “ice” skating, swan paddle boats, water park, mini golf, a train trolly, restaurants, arcade, jungle gym, multiple pools. Definitely a good spot if you don’t want to do the parks every day that you’re there! Highly recommend.

Great property. However, room could be decorated with a little more flare. Rooms are a bit stark and slightly dated.
