Pros: the room and bathroom was clean add adequate towels, linens, and kitchen supplies. Cons: the beds were uncomfortable. The one closest to the window is the one I slept in the first four nights, and I could barely walk by the fourth morning due to a crick in my back. I switched to the other bed when I realized it had a bed topper and was better, but not the best. Window treatments are paper thin. They may not allow people to see in but absolutely do not block any sunlight out of the room. So as soon as the sun rises, you are being blinded by the sun in your bed unless you have a mask on (thankfully, I had one but my husband did not) which isn’t the end of the world, but it immediately heats up your room even with the air conditioning on. Was challenging to keep cool. The bathroom is very dated. The shower is dark and no shelves but good pressure of water. Tub looked old. At the end of our visit, we went to our car with our luggage and then my husband returned to the room to leave the parking pass with the key, there were already people in the room cleaning, which was very weird like we were being watched, because we actually left over an hour earlier than I had told them we would be leaving. Just left us feeling like they were watching us somewhere??? Didn’t like that feeling.
Overall, we felt safe and the elevators were quick to getting us to the 29th floor and going back down to wherever which was nice. Super close to a lot of stores and restaurants. Location was great! Two blocks away from Waikiki Beach and great view of Diamond Head from the balcony! Communication with a host was very good.
