As you enter this eighth-floor condo, you'll be greeted by central air-conditioning, free WiFi, and cheerful decor that mimics the colors of the beach. There's a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, space to dine at both the breakfast bar and the farm table, and a Gulf-front living room with a TV and direct access to the balcony overlooking the beach. Additional amenities include a TV in each of the bedrooms and a private washer/dryer.

Ocean House is a beachfront property with a large, seasonal, zero-entry outdoor pool, a small kiddie pool, and a grilling area for you to enjoy. In this wonderfully central part of Gulf Shores, you'll be two miles west of Gulf State Park and only one mile from Gulf Shores Parkway - the thoroughfare that's home to Waterville USA and dozens of popular restaurants, eateries, ice cream parlors, activities, and attractions.

Property was nice. Clean and as advertised. Beds very comfortable. Furniture was comfortable. Well stocked kitchen but could use pot holders and a few more kitchen towels. Porch furniture was good. Bathrooms nice and appreciate hooks for hanging towels etc. Needs to be painted. We had a great time.

Amazing location and view but the condo was filthy

We couldn’t have asked for a better location or view but it was also very filthy. One of the shower curtains was a cloth material and had black mold growing on it as well as the ceiling around the vents. The air conditioner intake vent was so filthy, it was hard to see how any air was being pulled through. The couch cushions were very dirty and worn. We put a sheet over them before sitting on them. A couple of drinking glasses were put in the cabinet dirty and there were fingerprints all over the refrigerator door. We sanitized all door handles and light switches, but overall, just felt like we didn’t want to touch anything the whole week we were there.

Unit needs attention ASAP

I had hoped to not write this review but after letting property management know about issues, I was surprised with their response and decided to let others know. Unit and building overall need some maintenance quickly. Mold present on ceiling in front bathroom and the shower curtain in middle bathroom was literally black with mold towards the bottom. Patio furniture is very cheap and one chair promptly broke the minute it was sat in. So thankful no one was hurt! Overall the building shows lots of issues including the one elevator not working yesterday and this unit is on the 8th floor. We have stayed at multiple VRBO properties over the years and never had an issue but this unit needs not only repairs, but a better management company. It’s a shame there was no way to contact the owners.
