With 4 bedrooms and a sleeper sofa, Anchor Down will comfortably fit your entire group. The primary room includes a king sized bed, while another provides a queen and a twin bunk, ideal for families. In a third bedroom, there is another queen sized bed and the fourth bedroom has a twin-over-full bunk bed. The queen sized sofa bed is located in the living room.

Lovely property
We were a group of 6 friends (3 couple) and we truly enjoyed the stay. The deck was great for morning coffee and evening cocktails. We will definitely will be booking again.

Family time
The property was a place with normal wear and tear, needs a little tlc, over all it was good for a large family, there was a sofa bed in the description, not there. Liked that there was a washer and dryer, washed sheets and towels since we were there over a week. Fished in the canal, went to the pier, took kids to play area, cooked on the grill and had a good time.

Family semi-annual get together
The property was very nice and clean. Great bay access with community dock a block down. Also a very good restaurant, gift shop and bait and tackle at the same place. Minor details would be larger guest soaps and shampoo for renters, stock fridge, cupboards and cabinets better. 3 coffee cups for 6 adults is just not enough.

We arrived around 10:30am. The outside doors on the first floor were ALL unlocked, including the door in the downstairs bedroom that wasn’t listed as so. NOWHERE in the listing does it state there is a bedroom downstairs. After a long day fishing, we tried to take a shower outside but we couldn't get it to work. So, I sent a message to the Rental Company through VRBO. They told me to check the water line which I had already done so I immediately replied that the water line was open. I did not hear anything so I asked for an update on Wednesday morning, and their response was, "Hello! Let me check" then NOTHING. So I sent another message on Thursday morning asking what the status was and if we were being ignored. They FINALLY sent out the maintenance man and he opened the garage door and said there was extensive pipe damage and nothing could be fixed without the owner's approval. He said that he thought this was one of the properties where pipes froze during the last 2024 winter storm where they had a deep freeze. He also mentioned he thought the underground water lines were also busted. That would explain the literal gaping holes in the backyard. My husband and 2 kids fell into them before I could find something to cover them up. I was able to find HUGE logs left on the deck from cut-down palm trees. These holes are so big and deep that you can see the actual cement sea wall. The light strand over the boat dock is plugged in and 1 lit bulb, 1open socket and 3 burnt out...

Great home
Property was vey nice. Home was nice as well. Neighbors were very friendly. Had everything we needed. Only thing I wish I'd knew was the boat lift does not work. Very windy friday and had to pull the boat out due to the water being rough. If you don't have a boat then no issue there. Other than that the place was great. Enjoyed Sea Isle and the marina/bar restaurant as usual.

Family trip
Overall it was a great location. Shower was amazing and the beds were good. Plenty of seats for our whole family. Only issues we did not have enough silverware for our family of 8 and the floor was dirty. The kids feet turned black walking on the floor barefoot.
Other than that the location was beautiful and the stay was nice.

We love this neighborhood in Galveston. The house with large raised deck was great for our group and the home had everything we needed. Nicely updated and un-fussy.
