Located in the Bush Point neighborhood, The Whidbnb is a short stroll from famous salmon fishing spots as well as a public boat ramp. Walk just 10 minutes to Bush Point, where you can use the public boat ramps or experience famous salmon fishing in the summer months. Nearby South Whidley State Park features 347 acres of old-growth forest and hiking trails. Downtown Freeland is a 10-minute drive for dining and shopping.

This home features a beautifully renovated interior as well as views of the Puget Sound and mountains. Complete with partial Puget Sound views and a smart TV, the sunlit living area is an excellent place to kick back after fun-filled days. A full suite of stainless steel appliances and granite countertops gleam in the well-equipped kitchen, which also offers a bar. Two bedrooms are fitted with a queen bed, while the third bedroom has a full-size futon and a smart TV. The bathroom is configured with a tub/shower combination.

The west-facing deck boasts views of the Puget Sound and distant mountainscape. The fully-fenced backyard is perfect for relaxing. Gather around the firepit or use the gas grill to sear your meals to perfection.

The house was great. Inside fairly clean. Outside however had sewage seeping into lawn and ground was mushy in front of deck. Could not sit on deck because of smell. Unsafe for kids and dogs to play in yard.

Second time staying

This was our second time staying at this property and we liked it as much the second time as the first! Our dog loves the fenced in yard (though she was able to get in under the deck, so if that could be closed off that would fantastic.) Plenty of space for a family of four. Great location and we love walking around the neighborhood and enjoying the view from the deck. Highly recommend!

Great place for anyone needing a fenced backyard

This is a comfortable place that would be perfect for anyone needing a fenced backyard for dogs or children. The peek-a-boo view of the Sound is actually quite entertaining, the mountain tops easily viewable over the various houses of Bush Point. Bring water with you as the well pump does not work here when the power goes out - and it is usually not safe to go out for water when the power goes out because the trees that brought down the power lines in the first place are over the roadways!

Perfect yard for dogs and great location

This property was exceptionally clean, which was important because a member of our group has a lot of sensitivities. We also brought two young dogs and it was great to be able to let them run wild in the yard. The location was close to the beach and other island activities. I highly recommend!

We enjoyed our 3 night stay and appreciated the close proximity to Freeland and the wedding festivities that brought us to Whidbey. Well-stocked and comfortable house with lots of light and great for our two dogs with fully fenced yard and dog chews. Thanks for an excellent weekend.

Great!

We really enjoyed this property. Though it was very hot in the afternoon because of the western exposure, it cooled off quickly. I suggest that the owners consider an awning and/or patio umbrella so that the deck can be used more. All in all, it was a good property.

House was great. Missing little things.

There was not enough dishwasher soap for our stay, the kitchen had lots of random things and was missing a few clutch items, like a pitcher or tongs shorter than 18inches. They were minor of course.

A delightful little beach house - comfy, cozy & cute!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Everything was what we expected as the description and pictures depict the property well. I really enjoyed the mix of modern and antique furniture and art - so eclectic and fun! The yard was fantastic and gated, bedrooms were a good size, and the home felt comfortable for the five of us. Strengths: Cute, quiet neighborhood near the beach with views of the ships going by. Very comfortable home - really enjoyed the 2nd TV room for kids, two queen bedrooms, shower with tub, and equipment in the kitchen for baking - we like to bake! Suggestions for improvement: Could use some cute chairs on the back deck and the shower squealed at me when I used hot water for a bit. Overall: Would certainly look to stay here again!
