We were looking for a place to stay near Gettysburg when we found this and were glad we did. The apartment was as pictured - clean, a nice size for the two of us, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Kitchen has pots, pans, dishes, utensils, etc., lots of room in cabinets and refrigerator/freezer for any food and supplies you might bring (note there is no dishwasher). Living room gave us room to spread out and relax after a day of sightseeing. The big TV is a ROKU (something I'm not really familiar with and wound up not using). There's a hepa filter unit too. The bedroom has ample closet space and a small dresser, nightstands with lamps and a very comfortable bed. No trouble finding parking in the lot. The neighbors and the super were friendly and made us feel welcome. Lisa was prompt and helpful in answering questions that came up. The only downside is I think there was a hint of cigarette smoke from one or more of the neighboring apartments.
As for location, as the listing says it's convenient to downtown Frederick which is packed with a variety of restaurants, shopping, and more. You can stroll or bike for miles along Carroll Creek and neighboring parks. Gettysburg, Antietam, Harper's Ferry, Baltimore, Annapolis, Washington D.C., the C&O Towpath Trail, and any number of historic towns, state parks and recreation areas are within easy driving distance.
