Weekend stay

The lodge owners and the property management company dont seem to be on the same page. We noticed a slight gas smell on arrival, we asked the front desk who said we need to talk the property manager. The property manager then said she could call the front desk. It ended up not being a problem but if it was noone wanted to help. The tub did not drain well at all and the sink in the dinette area did not have a food catch. The front desk staff for the lodge seemed disinterested in helping since we were using vrbo to stay there.

Not as clean as expected

Location was great but the room should have been cleaner. My husband found a tobacco tin under the main bed, and some pills under the pull out couch. Some of the blankets were covered in (human) hair, and the shower curtain needs to be replaced (mildew). We also only received two towels (there were 4 of us), and no pool towels. When we asked the front desk for pool towels they told us we had to contact our host. Other than that the stay was as expected.
