Nestled in the lush Lost Colony Villas community, this updated 3BR/3BA is a beach lover’s dream. A palm tree-studded lawn leads to the beach access, just steps away. Highlights include kitchen upgrades, vaulted ceilings in the living room, craftsman details, and bright interiors.

Beautiful stay with a few minor qualms

Overall, this was a great stay. It was a beautiful property with a great location and plenty of space for family. There were a few small things that could have been improved: the management did not respond at all to my question ahead of time about whether beach towels were provided additionally (they are not, we found out) and the dishwashing supplies and toiletries are extremely minimal. For as much as you pay for a property and stay for 4 days with 6 guests, it would be much appreciated if they provided more than one day of shampoo in each bathroom and two total dishwashing tabs. It's little things like that that would have made the whole experience close to perfect. It was also frustrating that there was a laundry powder container next to the washer that was deceptively completely empty. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay.

Comfortable house, but long walk to beach

The house was nice, comfortable beds, clean, plenty of space for a family of five. It was not as stocked as I am used to. No beach towels, chairs, or wagon (which would have been helpful given the distance to the private beach access). It is not beach front, but you can see the ocean from the top deck. The neighborhood is quiet and the beach location is not as busy as closer to town, which was nice.

Comfy house :-)

House was as pictured, was a short walk to the private beach. Unfortunately a cold front came in while we were there so couldn’t enjoy the beach to the max, but the house itself was very comfy we and we didn’t mind staying in :-) It’s a nice mid point location, close enough to Port A without the traffic. It was at most 12 min drive to restaurants like Virginia’s on the bay in Port A or to Docs on the other side.

I hesitate to even say how much we enjoyed our stay, cause we plan to come back for a week next year! We’ve been to Port A for decades but always condos, first time in a house and it was perfect! Walk from door to sand was less than 1/2 mile, 5 min leisurely walk with all your gear. The location away from condos made the beach setup seem super private, we could look to the right and see no one for miles. The beds were surprisingly comfortable and we enjoyed having family dinners indoors and on the deck after a day in the sand. The pools are residential size but never too crowded. Our biggest worry all week was trying to find live sports on the Smart TV for buzz noise ;)

Secluded location with short walk to the beach

We love our stay at this property and its location, away from the Spring Break crowds, traffic, and over-crowded public beach. The check-in process was easy, and kitchen was fully equipped (would be perfect to have a dry rack though), and the master bedroom upstairs has some privacy when my husband needed to work on his computer. Our children loved having outdoor breakfast sitting at the third floor patio over looking the ocean and enjoyed the ocean breeze. The board walk was a short walk away and led to a private beach area which we spent most of our time there. The weather was a bit chilly but it didn't stop the kids having a blast. It also wasn't too long of a drive to visit USS Lexington, about 30 min, and we took the scenic route via Ocean Blvd, felt like we were in FL! We also headed the other way to Port A about 15 min to have lunch and dessert, and we were so glad we didn't book a place in that area. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

nice visit to port Anansas

Nice property, could see egrets and roseate spoonbills from deck in salt marsh close by. Beech about a block hike from property. Weather cooled off at end of visit otherwise nice place to visit.
