Overall, I liked this property. The room was clean, roomy, and conveniently located not too far from downtown. The staff was ok. They were not overly friendly but not rude. My biggest complaint was the housekeepers made a lot of noise in the mornings cleaning guests rooms by slamming doors and just being very loud with moving around. The walls were paper thin so I could hear everything.
I was offered a room that appeared not to have been cleaned. There was hair on the floor, and the bathroom was not up to par.
The property is located in one of the most unsafe parts of Charlotte. Even the property owners themselves recognize this as they make sure check in is done through a small hallway where the staff remains behind protective glass and you can only gain access once you have a key. The hotel has 2 floors but the owner(s) thought it best to cut costs by not including elevators. The 1st room I was given smelled of urine, then the door would not close behind me. The 2nd room smelled better, but the sink in the bathroom was clogged with water draining out ever so slowly, the space behind the door in the bathroom had obviously not been cleaned for a long time, the drain in the bathtub has something in it, the fridge had brown liquid spilled through all the shelves and all the way to the bottom, the fridge also leaked water continuously. This is a terrible Red Roof Inn franchise! I’d recommend out of town folks to avoid it! There are better hotels at around the same cost.
Nothing too fancy about the joint. It got the job done. Felt a bit sketchy at night but I’d been at worse.
Staff is very helpful, has all basics you need but small details like a wall where the electrical interruptor is was not strong as supposed to be.

Our room reeked of Clorox bleach. It was excessive. I wanted to rest after our flight and had to leave the room after an hour because it was sickening. My smell and taste is now screwed up. My vacation should not start like this. You never use bleach in an unventilated area.
It had a very secure front door to gain entry to lobby, which was good. Can’t think of anything bad you get what you pay for however

Rooms were clean, staff was professional and efficient! Absolutely no carpeting which was wonderful. Area was questionable at first but turned out to be very nice. Friendly people and a couple of nice sit down restaurants. Ton of fast food spots.
Not bad for $75. I hate that you have to walk through the building to get to your room...wish there were side doors and parking.

The property was dark throughout the building. The carpeting smelled. Some of the furniture was upgraded in my room. I wouldn't stay again. It's located in a quiet area which was great. The staff was very nice and pleasant.
