Very pleasant stay. Rooms and rest of property were very clean and well-appointed Owners thought of everything down to the smallest detail. Minor quibble- the stones on the front path were challenging to navigate. Back entertainment area was a real plus. Would recommend.

Good location and great house

We loved the huge deck and all the games provided. The hot tub is opposite side of deck to the rooms so it was nice not having to be quiet with sleeping kids on the other side of house.

Cabin Christmas

Cabin was exactly as pictured and made for the perfect Christmas vacation. Plenty of space for our family with an amazing deck that made enjoying the outdoors easy! Excited to go back and spend another family vacay enjoying all that this space has to offer.

Spotless, cozy cabin!

Our family of four spent two nights here between Christmas and New Year's, and our stay was perfect. The house was spotless and welcoming, with a Christmas tree next to a lit fireplace and music playing when we arrived! The house was well-stocked and had all the amenities you might need. But if you plan on building a fire, bring your own (dry) wood if it's been raining, as well as a lighter and a few bundles of fire starter. We had fits getting a fire going because everything was so wet, and all the stores were sold out of fire starters! Also, bring ice as there is no ice maker - only a few small ice trays in the freezer. Overall, this is one of the nicest properties we have stayed in and we will definitely be back!

Great weekend get a way with family

We had the best time! The cabin was beautiful and had everything we needed. The patio was so fun with the hot tub and all the games and we had fun making s’mores in the fire pit. Would definitely stay again!

Comfortable, cozy and absolutely wonderful!

We had the pleasure of staying at the Hideaway. On the outside it looked every bit of the rustic cabin that I was looking for. In fact, it was the only cabin I even saw that looked rustic. The back patio was great with the hot tub, corn hole and a great seating area. We even saw some majestic deer. The inside of the cabin was beautiful with all of the wood. Everywhere you went to sit or lay down was extremely comfortable. The kitchen was great. Overall, we had a great time in a very beautiful cabin.

Winter Break 2024

Great property. Excellent location. Plenty of amenities. We had a couple of minor plumbing issues that were quickly resolved by the property management company. My family had a wonderful time! Would recommend and rent again!

Quick getaway

We took a last minute weekend trip to The Hideway. The property is beautiful, the hot tub wonderful and relaxing. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed to have a relaxing weekend. The owners have spent the time decorating for the holidays. It was just so relaxing.

Beautiful Home

The house is gorgeous. The inside is better than the pictures suggest. It was beautiful. There were a few issues with the shower, dishwasher, and refrigerator. But we made it through and I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. If you have kids, this is the perfect spot.

Beautiful well-stocked cabin!

We were in awe as we walked in the front door of this cabin. It was beautifully decorated and had everything anyone could ever need. We always travel with all the things, hand soap, dish soap, air fresheners and all those extras but this cabin had it all! We so enjoyed our stay and didn't want to leave! We spent a lot of time on the ridiculously large pack patio playing cornhole and sitting in the hot tub. Loved playing giant Uno too! We rented a boat at the marina and hiked the Friends Trail and ate so much great food! We will definitely be back!

Perfection!

The Hideaway was everything we expected and more! The photos were exactly how we checked in. The check in and check out process were seamless. The space was amazing and accomodated our party of 6 perfectly. Plenty of space for everyone to enjoy together or separately, even our one year old (ran all over without bumping into things). The outdoor patio was amazing, plugged up the xbox and enjoyed gaming outside. I defintely recommend staying here and look forward to visiting again. The location was perfect. We were able to use our ATV to drive up to the near by shops and enjoy the Hochatown Distillery.

Absolutely fantastic!

Staying at the Hideaway was such fun! It was clean and beautiful inside and the woods were just as lovely. Nice and quite. We had rain most of our visit and listening to it on the tin roof was so relaxing! Everything we could need was provided. We had forgotten to bring extra blankets, because we tend to get chilly, and were so happy to find extras in the the dressers! Do yourself a favor and book this cabin. You’ll have a great time! We sure did!

Great Vacation House

Wonderful property and beautiful house! So much space to relax and enjoy the outdoors…tons of games to enjoy inside and out. Very comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen! Also loved having the beverage and wine fridges!

Family viait

This was a short trip with our family. The cabin was extremely nice and had everything that we needed. Loved everything except traffic, which they have no control over. Just nice to know the main road does get clogged and you can sit in a single line of traffic for 30 mins. We were here on memorial weekend. Thanks for everything.
