Nice, simple clean rooms. Convenient to lovely downtown of Bay St. Louis. Love the relaxing atmosphere of the casino. Played poker machines for 3 hours and saw waitress twice, was a little disappointed, but went and got my soda at beverage station, so not too bad. We were there and in the casino Friday and Saturday nights after dinner and until ready to go to sleep. The weather wasn't great during the day and was a little disappointed we couldn't find a magazine, newspaper or an ice cream cone, just to sit and relax a bit. (I was told the only ice cream was to go eat at the buffet and that I could see their local newspaper on-line) We bought a couple of little pastries at their counter downstairs and went to the room. We watched the pool chairs blow into the pool due to wind and watched the guests pull them out while we "snacked". It would have been nice to at least be able to get something to read. We ended up napping a couple of hours before dinner and more gambling.

Arrived @ 2p waited 30 minutes for valet, didn't get rooms til 5p. Overwhelming smoke aroma through building. Valets doubled as bell hops, to ensure room is cleaned properly strip bed, front desk staff and operators very unprofessional did not seem to be concerned with addressing complaints. Asked for corporate address and was given run around, passed from person to person and still no address.

The hotel is in the middle of nowhere. The hotel is very dated. The pictures are very misleading. The staff was nice.

I was overcharged at checkout...Orbitz is trying to get the $100 taken OFF my final bill...still waiting....

We were surprised at the discounted price offered. We were going to stay in Biloxi, but chose to go to Bay St. Louis instead due to the value of the hotel. We were not disappointed. The accommodations were great. On top of that, we played for several hours in their casino, where there was not only a good variety of games, but super live entertainment. The stay was outstanding.

I had a great time the buffet was great and should be included with your packages.

It was great stay and friendly staff. The hotel was great and the room was awesome.

We had a great time, loved the pools, and gaming. But the Buffet was awful. They left the food out too long, all dried out yuck!

The room was nicer than I thought it would be. It was clean and spacious. Good value for the money paid. The hotel is off the main highway but there are signs to get you there. This property is not on the ocean side and is away from other casinos. A disappointment was the pool. The pool was open but the lazy river that they hype up about on the hotel's web site was still under construction. I would stay at this property again but would think about staying at a different casino/hotel depending on price.

Visited relatives nearby. Had a pleasant stay for a reasonable price. Because most of the time was spent with family, cannot comment much on the restaurants and amenities of the hotel. It was clean and quiet and comfortable.

everything was outstanding except the casino. i dropped around 2k in slots and only got small amonts back like 10 & 20 credits. i got 100 credits back once. i play mostly 1$ slots. i love to gamble & don't mind losing but this was ridiculous. never saw such a tight casino in my life. will not go back because of that reason only. in 4 days never saw one jackpot winner & a lot of complaints from other people. sorry

Nice pool and gym. Rooms basic but clean and well provisioned. I didn't get my wake-up call and you probably need to ask the front desk for an ethernet cable if you want to use a laptop. The WiFi doesn't work on many floors. The buffets are very nice and reasonably priced. The casino is unimpressive.

I went to a 25year class reuion. The sheet on the bed felt like paper.

we only spent one night but everything was a number 1,we only gambled, eat a great meal and ventured on the next day.

The hotel was very pleasant. Rooms very clean, there is a Casino off the main entryway. The only drawback is the smoking in the Casino. The smell is very over powering if you are a non smoker, but you can rest comfortably in your non smoking room without worrying about the smoking smell.

My room at Hollywood Casino Magic in Bay St. Louis, Ms. was spacious and comfortable-didn't seem like a hotel room at all. Even the bathroom was roomy for a single occupancy room. Although I'm sure the casino is the main draw, it was nice to have a large television with plenty of channels to choose from plus movies available for purchase if the casino was of no interest. In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, the hotel was renovated nicely under new management. Staff members are friendly without it seeming forced, required or fake. My one negative would be parking. The hotel really needs private parking for guests, perhaps in the form of a parking garage to separate it from casino visitors and protect against the elements.

The Hollywood Casino was a nice hotel with comfortable rooms. The bathroom was spacious in the Jr. King Suite. The lounging area in the room as an added bonus as well as the whirlpool bathtub. As a non-smoker, the smoke was difficult to deal with as the casino area became more populated. It seemed to seep everywhere. That would be the only down side to my stay.

The Hollywood Casino Hotel in Bay St. Louis offered a beautiful lobby, free parking, and a large sleeping room. The room we had offered a separate sitting area and a large jacuzzi tub. We were very pleased with this hotel.
