What you would expect for a two star place. Ok to stay the night when there is nothing else available but not my first choice and probably wouldn’t stay there again if I could avoid it. Nothing horrible mind you just not what I was hoping for.
Fruit flies around bathroom sink, and the caulking was disintegrating. I found a stain on one of the sheets.

It was affordable, the location was convenient, the staff was friendly. The room could have been a little cleaner.

Easy access to hwy system, 2 exits south of Disney Resort, half the price yet the same quality.
No coffee maker, no hair dryer, broken window screeen, broken window lock, broken deadbolt. Eventually the window and lick issues were repaired.
Have almost always stayed at red roof inn be it in San Antonio & Laredo tx as well as in Santa Ana california would highly recommend to friends and family
I stayed here with my boyfriend for a Disney trip. Very nice hotel. It was very clean and had a microwave and mini fridge which was convenient. The hotel was walking distance to a mall that had lots of restaurants that were open late and across the street was a market, a coffee bean, three different banks and more restaurants. It was somewhat close to Disney, about 15 minutes on the freeway away but it wasn't bad at all for us. I would stay again and I recommend red roof Santa Ana. I was really impressed with the area and the hotel. It exceeded my expectations.
Erika (Assistant Manager), is very friendly and helpful. She made my stay very comfortable and easy. The staff is very accommodating and I would like to come back again. I would highly recommend this hotel and Erica has shown such great positive energy towards her customer service.

Hotel is Pet Friendly. I like the location next to the Mall. The only problem was not being able to extend my stay. I got a call from my job last minute, and was getting ready to call the office when the house phone rang. The office calling, so I immediately asked to extend my stay, she told me NO, THE ROOM WAS ALREADY RENTED OUT AND I COULDNT CONTINUE MY STAY BECAUSE I DIDNT TALK TO THEM EARLIER, MIND YOU IT WAS 1:05 PM WHEN SHE CALLED ME.
It's ok but could be better. Carpet need , Air Conditioning , Doors, Window, TV , Bathroom need new replacement of remodel.
We decided to stay at Red Roof Inn because the ratings were good for such a low priced hotel but as we entered our room it was very cold, the hallway and room smelled of smoke. Not happy about residents that live there up at all hours of the night. Very unhappy since I had my younger brothers with me. Major infestation of cockroaches, had to keep all of our things in the car and very very uncomfortable!!
I stayed at this hotel while in OC on business. The location was very convenient being right next to the I5 Fwy. & close to the 22 Fwy. I was surprised that I heard little to no traffic noise from the adjacent 5 Fwy. I did, however, experience late night noise problems with some of the guests there. The management did their best to take care of the problem, but it occurred both nights of my stay and continued intermittently for several hours.
The best part of property is Polly's Pies and the closeness to the mall. Stayed here two years ago but you can see how things are old and worn down.
