First of all, we had a reservation here and our son suddenly got sick. He got a bad cough, diarrhea and had fever Sunday. We tried to cancel so we can be home in case he got worse.. they said no. Like we have control of situations like this, they offered to move the reservation by a week and I let them know that was not possible as I had to go back to work and couldn’t take the time off. They honestly didn’t care.. so we decided to risk it and hope our son got better by then, which he did feel much better by then thankfully but the night was rough.. we ate at the donraven located in the hotel Tuesday night after settling in, food was not so great but we tried to make the best of it, fast forward later that night and my wife got sick to her stomach. Abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.. it was horrible for her but she still tried to shake it off and tried to feel better by sleeping it off but was just getting worse so we decided to check out early instead of waiting until check out next day so we can be close to our local hospital in case we needed to go in, which we did! We asked for a partial refund or see what can be done and the manager was called up, she was so unprofessional as she didn’t even introduce herself or even apologize or address the issue with me directly. She didn’t even look me in the eye, what kind of customer service is that!!? The front desk guy told me we had to contact Expedia directly to ask for a partial refund and I did only for Expedia to
