Good Points Hotel is in ideal position for visiting all attractions. Our room was on high floor (extra cost) which had good views across the city and the Empire State Building. Bed was large and comfortable. Room clean. Bad Points On top of the booking rate, the hotel charges a compulsory 35 dollars a day as a credit against food or drink. You get charged this fee whether you use it or not ! If it’s compulsory it should be shown in the base rate per night, as it gives the wrong price on comparison with other hotels. We had already pre-booked breakfast, so if you are considering this, don’t bother ! Food and drink prices are extortionately high. On day of departure, the luggage room charges 5 dollars (per case !) to keep your luggage safe until you depart, why ? If you look on previous reviews, you will see the hotel management acknowledge this, but as nothing has changed, their responses are obviously meaningless.

Excellent service, staff were really helpful especially George the concierge who helped me in advance of our stay organise the hire of a mobility scooter which was delivered and collected to Reception. Views were AMAZING from our room of Empire State, down to 1 World Observatory and Ellis Island in the far distance. Wheelchair accessible room had plenty of room for my wheelchair and mobility scooter and for us to move around and a wheel-in shower with a fold down seat attached to the wall. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.
