The hotel has a fun vibe and it put us in an area of Brooklyn that we had not explored before. Don't miss the chance to go the place they recommend for breakfast, JK & Sons, it was great. The lobby and meeting room area are nice but our room was in a need of maintenance, nothing major but bunch of smaller things that made us question the value. The hallways carpets had seen better days, we had ants... but the beds are comfy and the room was clean.
I did not get to stay at Brooklyn House Hotel, due to the fact my reservation was canceled prematurely, when i asked the attending Desk Clerk Abigail, she said "it was a no show" and it was also the policy of the hotel and my money will not be refunded, won't stay at this hotel ever again and will alert my friends and family about it.
Great location for subway and bus. Very nice staff. The only downside is the single elevator which can take long since it may stop on all 8 levels for people, and 1 night we stayed it was broken so we had to walk 8 flights. Besides that great breakfast daily that is included, room was perfect for what we needed. Loved the view. Good heater/ac. Would definitely come back in the future.
The staffs were very nice The bathroom shower needs some improvement because the water goes all over the outside of the shower.
They do not solve for the customers, refused to refund or work out another day for a mistake done on their website.
Simple room .. simple check in.. definitely would stay here again

Convenient location. Minimalistic design but comfortable. We were visiting for an engagement party and the room met all our needs. Nice complimentary breakfast.
Close to my family had a cool vibe with art work on every floor. A great NY experience close to all forms of transportation. Was there for a funeral and they were super helpful and compassionate recommend it highly. Wish they had parking but most hotels in brooklyn don't.
Parking was a hassle - It took way too long to check in. Breakfast was decent though
The location was good, although the area is a little iffy, but that is like much of Brooklyn. Tough to have no easy options for parking...but again, that is Brooklyn.
I liked that it offered a basic, functional, clean room. Hallway walls and carpets are starting to show there use and could use some cleaning up.
