The staff at the property were lovely and accommodating, but the area in which the "hotel" is located is not the safest. At one point there was a homeless man sleeping on the couch in the lobby. Definitely won't be staying here again ifI can help it.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!! Unsafe area, run down property, no amenities, rooms are old, dirty and small.

That property should be condemned by the City of NY.

The reviews had me apprehensive but my stay wasn't bad at all. Front desk was so nice. I had no big issues. I mean it is what it is. I would stay here again for another day trip. I love that the block is full of delis. I had the best chopped cheese from the spot right down the block.

Too noisy

Took over 2 hours to check in after the said check-in time because they were short staffed which I understood and waited but the rooms were dirty, I barely touched the bed because it looked suspicious, and the shower.

This was the worst place i ever have stayed in. The whole place smelled like weed, filthy too. Literally drug deal occurring as we were walking in the lobby. The bed sheets had stains. The pillows had hair on them. There were no bath towels only hand towels. The bathroom was the only thing that was ok. This place had several splatter stains all over the ceiling. I was only in town with my grown daughter, so we stuck it out. You get what you pay for i guess.

Bad hotel area condition. Bad room services.

No hot water in a December time so couldn’t take shower

1 star hotel; room smells as if it was never aired out, bathroom towels had hair on them; either from the cleaning staff or a previous guest. no closet, or space to hang coat. constant odor of weed in the hallways.

For Safety Reasons , see how Wall Handle of 1 or 2 Feet horizontal length can be introduced to the Shower Area for your Guest to hold-onto in case of slipping or falling while washing up .Otherwise all seemed compact.

I don't expect bells and whistles in my hotel when I visit NYC: I'm going to be out and about, so I just want an easy check in process, a clean bed, and a shower. This hotel struck out on all three: their computer system was down, so they didn't have my reservation. It took me about thirty minutes to get checked in, and I ended up having to pay more. It wasn't well cleaned (lots of dried soap on the bathroom sink). And to top it off, after a cold, rainy night in NYC, there was no hot water in the entire building in the morning. I had to take a cold shower. I talked to the person at the front desk, who would do nothing. Avoid at all costs.
