Great hotel in a lovely area.
Great value hotel in a nice area of the city. Our room was spacious and warm, very clean, perhaps a bit dated with the apricot bathroom suite, but that didn't bother us at all! Staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. A short bus ride to the main shopping area, but there's plenty of pubs and restaurants around the hotel to have an evening in the area, es along the city centre. We were going to a gig at the Hydro which is within easy walking distance. I tried to book.again for our next conversation, but the price was over twice per night than what we paid for this stay, so I've sought elsewhere sadly.

The whole atmosphere was friendly and the staff were most helpful. It didn't have the formality that you find in so many hotels, so it felt more like a good B&B. We would go there again.

Although I know the West End well I hadn’t used the Sandyford before. It was a great location, perfect for eating and drinking around that part of the city. I had a gig on one of the evenings and was able to walk there and back quite quickly. Will definitely use the Sandyford in the future.
