A real gem steps off of the Royal Mile! Super clean and wonderfully furnished. The staff were very helpful and welcoming — I would stay again in a heartbeat!

Best hotel I’ve stayed at for a long time. Great location, of course, but this hotel is top notch. Clean, full kitchen, Samsung TV with casting capability, Bose Bluetooth speaker, comfortable bed and bedding. Helpful staff.

The property itself is a conglomeration of multiple interconnected buildings. Old buildings which are internally updated. We typically find such properties charming and enjoyable. There are however shortcomings which make this no where near a 5 star experience. Bedroom had 1 drawer and closet. I lived out of suitcase. We were 3 so my adult daughter had a windowless poorly ventilated alcove that barely held a queen bed with no room for clothing storage. Bathroom nicely appointed. Room was above a bar so noisy until 100 AM. Location outstanding, directly on the Royal Mile. Have traveled extensively in Europe. This was most expensive hotel we ever stayed at. Just not 5 star. 3.5 star accommodation. Staff is excellent.

Echoing what everyone has said: this place is superb. The room is peak comfort and convenience and the location is stupendous but even bettwr is the extraordinary attentive service. All the staff is focused on your comfort and needs. I travel a lot and am hard to impress and i was bowled over. Cant wait to stay again.

Excellent location, very friendly staff that went out of their way to help us, awesome gym setup

Old town Chambers has a perfect location for us as this trip was our first time being in Edinburgh and we would like to start our exploration of the city from the old town. It is right on the Royal Mile, right across from the St Giles Cathedral, very convenient. Despite the central location, the room itself was very quiet because the build is racked in the Roxbury’s court. The suite we got had a large and comfortably furnished living room and a cozy balcony. The bedroom is a bit small, but it didn’t bother us too much because we had a lovely living space. The bathroom is of good size and I liked the style, just wished they built more vanity space or counter top. But again, we were happy with the place and the amenity in general. Their staff is friendly. We didn’t need much help, but our check-in and check-our were both very smooth. For someone like us who would like to stay at a central location, I’d recommend this place.

This place is AMAZING.. Enjoyed every minute of it. Staff are A+++

Beautiful apartment, great location!! Parking and luggage hauling is the only tricky bit, but that’s to be expected with such a central city location.

Will certainly stay hear again! A couple of minor items during our stay; 1) hot water heater wasn’t working the first day, and 2) thou they offered feather pillows upon request, after 3 nights we never received one.

Room was extremely spacious -- the couch and pull out bed were musty and dirty - should definitely give extra sheets for the pull out couch and get the couches and couch mattress washed

Great layout. Well-stocked. Even had milk in fridge. On High Street - alley access so you can’t avoid the stairs. Fab view.

We were upgraded to a family suite and wished we had others to share it with because it was so nice. Great location on the Royal Mile but super quiet on a little courtyard off the road. Would definitely stay there again

Great service , comfortable unique rooms, amazing location what more could you ask for! Probably my best hotel experience in Europe. Only concern would be for someone with mobility issues as stairs are impossible to avoid.

Our family of 4 had two - one nights stays this past week at the Old Town Chambers. You can't beat the tucked away location in the middle of old town -- a quick walk to the train station, great restaurants and the Castle. The apartments are clean and well equipped. Yes, there is a huge flight of stairs you need to climb coming up from the train station so if stairs are an issue and you have bags you might find a ride around to the street with fewer stairs. On our first night we were upgraded from a 1br family apartment to a 2br with a fabulous view of the Christmas Market across the street. On our second night we were in the 1br family apartment (which does have a second sleeping area anyway) which was just as nice (yes slightly smaller and no view, but plenty of space for 4 of us). Everyone who worked there was so friendly and extremely helpful with all of our questions - both hotel and general Edinburgh-related. A great find!

This was an ideal choice for my stay in Edinburgh. It's perfectly located on the Royal Mile, with restaurants and things to see/do, only steps away. We'd booked a Family Apartment, which is a 1 bedroom, but with a "Bed Deck" and were assigned Apartment 7. The kitchen was well-furnished, and the living area was a great place to just hang out. As you came in the front door, the bed deck was to your right, up a small step. The queen-sized bed fills the entire nook, with the exception of a space at the foot of bed, some shelves, and an open closet. (There are no drawers, in case you're interested.) But there is a wide shelf at the head of the bed that holds electronics, books, snacks...and there's an electrical outlet in it. The bed was really quite comfy. and I had the feeling of being in a nest. Privacy curtains hang at the doorway and the window to the apartment hallway, so whoever is sleeping in it isn't disturbed by anyone using the kitchen. The bathroom was modern and, again, well equipped with full size toiletries. The only quirk is that the sliding door to the bedroom has a glass panel in it, so if you turn on the bathroom light, it might disturb a light sleeper. All of these things added up to the perfect apartment for the two of us, allowing us to share common space, but live our own schedules without bothering the other person. One detail that I really liked was that each apartment has its own wifi router, so the signal was good and strong.

Looked at hundreds of hotels as I planned our trip. But just kept going back to the Chambers. We chose it and OMG it’s stunning. Located in a tiny close directly opposite St. Giles cathedral in the heart of true Old Town. Our two bedroom, two bath apartment was gorgeous. Everything was so clean and so beautifully decorated. Rooms are cozy and comfortable. The front desk was always helpful and answered all our touristy questions. Emails were very promptly replied to. literally everything you want to do in Edinburgh is steps away , but the noise level is very quiet as the apartments are tucked away inside. You can’t go wrong with this option. Loved loved loved. Do visit the Devils Advocate pub steps away and have the chicken. Just AMAZING. drinks are also delicious here. I will dream about the Chambers for years. A plus !!!!!!!!!!

The entrance to the hotel is down a very old Close, right in the heart of Old Town. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom was modern, as was the kitchen (plus laundry). The surprise is the delightful mix of modern refurbishments and old walls and beams Loved staying here
