Our stay at Desert Noir was a memorable experience filled with breathtaking beauty and a sense of remote tranquility. Nestled in a picturesque location, the property offers stunning views that make waking up each morning feel like a dream. The house itself exudes a professionally decorated charm, with thoughtful touches that add to its allure.
The seclusion of this place is a true gem; you'll feel like you're in your own private paradise. The landscape and surroundings add to the feeling of being somewhere truly special.
However, while the property has its high points, it's clear that it's in need of some maintenance. Many of the potted plants were dead, some decorations and outdoor lights were broken, and some amenities required attention. The pool had a leak and was completely drained after a day at the park, the pool filter was out of order. The outdoor shower was also non-functional. We were informed that the hot tub had a leak but after refilling it, it seemed to hold up.
One aspect that raised concerns was the outdoor camper, which had "danger" and "keep out" signs on it.
Check-In was unclear, the emails say meet face to face, but after four calls to figure out where to go I found out they just call you at check-in time with the lock code
In summary, Desert Noir has the potential to be a truly stunning property with a little TLC. While there were some misses during our stay, they were not show stoppers, and we would definitely consider returning for another visit
