From there, an archway opens onto the stunning chef's kitchen, outfitted with fine cutlery appliances, granite countertops, and more sweeping views! The huge granite island makes this fabulous kitchen the hub of the house and the elegant formal dining room seats 12 to 14 with four more at the island. Or, you can dine al fresco on the stylish custom picnic table that seats up to 16 outdoors. Also on the main level is the oversized garage, set up for children and adults with Ping-Pong, foosball, indoor basketball, and a flatscreen TV.

This platform system offers an incomparable queen-size memory foam mattress with no uncomfortable bars. In the same room are another twin trundle bed, comfy couches, and a third flatscreen TV and DVD player.
This very special property offers a perfect blend of forest and ocean, with direct access from the yard to the sandy beach and river. The decor, the spaciousness, proximity to town that there’s two king beds, which are hard to find. On a note, that if they provide a coffee machine, they should provide filters that fit it. That’s pretty standard. We had to go to town and purchase some.

The home is as beautiful as the pictures. wonderful views and a large back yard as well.We got a text saying that we could arrive anytime after 2. Arrived and the entry key # would not open the door. After 1/2 hr on phone with VRBO rep., she told us she would have the local property manager call us..We found a way in the back LUCKILY because we were not called back for two hours. One other really odd thing. We eat in and I love to cook. There are really nice cooking things BUT this was the first of about 15 VRBO rentals that did not have the basics. No salt and pepper even....no coffee at all not even for the first morning. No shampoo...Three refrigerators and all three had broken ice makers. I called ahead to see if they had a Keurig and if they had beach towels. The rep told me no to both but that they had two coffee makers_they did not and towels to clean our dogs-there were none I would defiantly go back to this home BUT I would know to bring essentials(the little store there is very expensive) I'm just giving this review to help the next guests who should really enjoy their stay in this wonderful beach home

The house location was amazing with close access to the ocean and beach. We enjoyed the time with our family in such an amazing beautiful home. A few of the unappealing things about the home were the poor choice of teflon frying pans, for all of the frying pans are in pretty bad shape. We were expecting a four bedroom home but there were only three actual bedrooms. The downstairs bedding had either makeup or blood on the bottom sheet and none of the mini blinds within the lower level worked. It was a beautiful home though. Lorrie

Great location!
We first stayed in 2021 and now 2025. Love the location! Only downside is you need to bring your own kitchen supplies and pans. The main oven rack collapsed under the weight of a 14 pound prime rib. Lucky there is another oven downstairs.

Great views
Property has amazing potential. We just had bad luck. Road was closed off for a day for repaving the shoulder. We were unable to go anywhere unless we walked. The key code didn't work. Spend 30 minutes trying to get access to the house. Beautiful weather and the best beds we have ever had.

Perfect location
You can't ask for a better setting with the beach right in front of the property. Pros: beds and bedding were extremely comfortable! Bathrooms were clean. There's a big basket of bath towels near the hot tub door - perfect so we didn't use up the bathroom towels for tubbing. Being able to bring our dog was a huge bonus. Dining table is big with cushioned seats so great for board games or a meal with a big group. Hot tub was a nice temp and clean. Driveway is large so plenty of parking. You can walk to restaurants & shops. Cons: kitchen pots/pans are very old. Bring your own. Pot holders are vintage + too thin to protect your hands. I found a dish in a cupboard that was covered in old cooking oils. We washed several dishes before we used them. The kitchen itself is beautiful with good appliances. It just needs some attention to getting rid of old drinking glasses, pans, etc and replacing. The game room smells musty (common due to coastal weather) + likely would smell much better if the old furniture/cushions were removed. Overall it was a great place. Note that you can't see the ocean from the deck due to large shrubs but you can see it inside the house through some trees. There's a gate in the backyard with a short walkway to the beach - it was awesome!

Great Location Needs Updating
-Good
House is in a great location and has amazing views
It’s big and spacious
Decor is good
Improvements Needed
Pictures are outdated. Some things are no longer there like the basketball game and couch in the garage.
Carpets are white and covered in stains and are filthy.
House allows animals so animal hair is everywhere.
Furniture is old and some of it is not very comfortable.
Beds are mostly firm and old.
Lots of scratches and scuffs on walls
House needs a facelift.
Lots of spiders inside and out
Some Boards on the deck are rotted and need replacement.
Pots and pans are old with flaking teflon.
Overall, it’s a large okay house in a great location with amazing views and mid grade beds.
They only provide minimal garbage bags, dishwasher pods, towels and TP. We had to go buy more of all of these. Definitely would not classify it as a luxury rental.

Beautiful area of Yachats but house is not great
The location of house is wonderful! It's lovely to wake up to the beautiful ocean views.
Pros: Location of house. Great ocean views! Saw blow holes of whales from the deck. Kitchen is well appointed and has anything you could need. Area is quiet and neighbors are not too close. It was great to walk to restaurants and shops. We particularly loved the shop "Mystic Antiques" and bought beautiful rings there.
Cons: House is dated. We were told just before we arrived that ice maker was not working. This means also no filtered water from fridge. There was a half empty bag of ice in the fridge and tiny ice cube trays. I do not want to use a bag of ice that previous renters may have dug their hands in. We had to keep refilling the trays to get ice for our drinks. After starting our laundry, we realized the dryer did not work. Vacasa admitted that they knew they dryer was inoperable and offered to have us go to another property to do laundry. I do not want to spend time during precious vacation to go do laundry at another site. Their solution was to credit us $55 for inconvenience. Sorry but that is not enough. Also, the playroom/garage room with ping pong table smells terrible. A strong ammonia smell.
Overall, the house is very big and in a wonderful location. However the description of the home being "elegantly appointed" is far from the truth. For the price of the rental the appliances should work! Also, the last 10/10 review from 5/24 is fake. We were in the home at that time

The views are fabulous. When we checked in there was furniture on top of furniture as if the carpets had been cleaned, but no one came to put it back where it belonged. My stepdaughter rearranged the furniture and spread out rugs.
The place is supposed to sleep twelve, it does not. I'd say it could comfortably sleep 8 at the most. When we arrived we found a broken bed on the bottom floor. I reported it several times to Vacasa, no one ever came to fix it.
I had to call Vacasa re location of hot tub key, long wait on the phone.
The appliances in the house are bad. The grill was filthy and attached to a rusted out propane tank. I spent two days trying to clean the grill.
The dryer didn't work until we climbed behind and removed a great amount of lint from the dryer duct, it was packed. The washer and dryer were dirty.
The community rooms were comfortable and the location is excellent. The house needs new management.

Gorgeous home and views!
Very spacious, well outfitted, everything we needed. Only downside for us was no beach hiking -- the home is located near a cove that prevents access to the beach. But it has a beautiful, large, lush backyard that seemed perfect for kids and dogs to play in. The home is walking distance from downtown Yachats.

Do NOT rent this house/ property
The house and property ARE beautiful, THIS house must be pulled from being rented until several health and safety issues are addressed: cleaned and repaired- my guess in the owners are not aware of how the house is being cleaned and serviced. Filthy non working refrigerator, dried food on the 'clean dishes and pots/pans' in the cabinets, running/leaking toilets, floors were filled with dog and human hair, food and dirt. Shower door fell in on a guest, hot water issues up stairs, mold and spider webs in lower rooms/bath. The master bedroom and livingroom has not been deep cleaned in a long time, under the bed, couches, rugs and furniture is filled with dust, dirt, food items, mold and a lot of hair. The hot tub was ice cold although I was told is was just cleaned and serviced prior to our arrival, the hot tub filters were covered in thick fuzzy black and dark green mold, dirty dishes were in the hot tub-this is a huge health issues. The local manager actually left a threating voice message on my cell after I complained to the house keeper that the house was NOT cleaned four days prior to our check in, as she had stated, repair and maintenance were called about five separate issues. We had to walk to the end of the property to get WIFI service- I shared photos with the manager during my return call, his horrible attitude quickly CHANGED-especially when I told him the housekeep stated '' that someone must have broken in to the house (and re-locked it) '' prior to our arrival-busted the doors, filthy black handprints on the light switches and door jams, left all the hair , dirt, grime and sand, eaten in and then broke the hot tub, !. Nearly four weeks after our stay, with several hour plus long phone calls, they offered me the return of the cleaning fee, I declined and was then told they would return one nights rental fee, STILL WAITING.
