Farmhouse getaway
My family enjoyed their stay at the farmhouse. It is located very near a property that we are working on and so it was convenient for my husband to go back and forth. It is located pretty far up so 4 wheel drive would definitely be necessary in the winter months or mud season. The bedrooms were comfortable and there were plenty of extra towels and pillows. There is a lovely office although I was unable to access anything on my computer. Had to respond to emails on my phone.
We did have a few hiccups though. The electricity went offline twice during our stay. Only lasted about an hour or two and luckily there were candles available.
There were also a couple of mice stealing our onions during the night. We had our own traps so we were able to handle that.
I don’t think I would rent any property hosted by Vacasa in the future. They were very slow to respond to my messages regarding the mice and how to handle trash. It felt very corporate and far away. Not the local host experience that we are used to.
