The house was nice but needs work for sure. The kitchen floor is bubbled up in several places and feels like it’s going to fall in when you walk across it. The outside of the house looks really bad. Bushes need trimming, but I assume they are overgrown and wild looking to serve as privacy for the windows which have no curtains or blinds. The windows which did have curtains, well the curtains were dirty. The front door has large gaps when closed, which probably helped to lead to the roach issue. I understand seeing one maybe two roaches when staying near coastal areas, but we saw several in the daytime which tells me there’s probably a lot moving around at night.
I understand that it’s an older home and you are trying to keep that “old home” charm, but renters don’t care, we want clean, roach-free, level floors, and a front door that you can’t see the outside when closed. I probably would not rent again.
