We had a wonderful time with this much needed weekend away! We enjoyed both the kayaks and the tiki bar. The house had a great layout for the larger group with room for us to cook dinners and spend time together. The location was close to several activities we were interested in. We'll definitely be back!

The home and property was very clean and neat.Many fun things to do such as a karaoke, machine, fire, pit, kayaks, etc.If I were to make one suggestion, it would be to change the trim to a contrast color on the two steps in the living room. It’s difficult to see the elevation change. A couple people missed the steps. Otherwise. It was great. If you post this comment, please post it anonymously or made up name. Thank you

Amazing Lakehouse on a beautiful lake

Thank you so much! Your house was perfect for our big family and graduation party. I amazed that the house was so big inside. The extra game room/tiki bar was a huge hit as well. The lake was amazingly warm and great for paddling around.

Great stay in January

We were in town for a family wedding and had a wonderful stay. The home was big enough for our group, clean, and well-stocked (especially appreciated the coffee supplies :-)Communication was excellent. The lake was beautiful with the snow. Would definitely recommend this property.

New Years Eve 2024-2025

Property is nice and clean. We stayed 3 days in December but enjoyed the house and property manager was responsive. It is probably a great house in the summer when kids can enjoy the lake and outside. We had a great time nevertheless.

Great for a big family

My wife and I along with our 5 kids (ages 2-13) as well 4 of my inlaws had a great stay. Kids loved the upstairs loft area. Very clean. Lots of sleeping options.

Looking for a really fun and relaxing place? This is it!

We had a really fun and relaxing time at the Tiki Retreat. It was a very quiet place with easy access to the Pontiac Rec Area for activities like hiking and archery. The Hot Tub and Karaoke were lots of fun and provided an excellent time for all. The open space inside the house facilitated lots of good conversations and the grill helped prepare delicious dinners for the family. There were some issues with some amenities and cleanliness but the host was very responsive in helping to address them. All-in-all, it was a great time for our large family!

Wonderful house on Pontiac Lake!

Our family of 5 had an amazing stay! Our children loved the bedrooms, as well as the tiki room (and playing Donkey Kong!). The house was comfortable, clean, roomy and offered lots of nice little touches. We wouldn't hesitate staying here again the next time we are in town.

Comfy and fun

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. We stayed here for an extended weekend with our friend group and our kids (all under 3). The house was beautiful and we really appreciated the tiki room in the garage for hanging out after all the kids went to bed! We really enjoyed the large deck with plenty of seating and the large green space for yard games! The lake is a very short walk from the house and we were able to use our own paddle board and giant floatie in the water off the dock. The owner was also very responsive to any questions, which I greatly appreciated. Thanks for a great stay!
