Very nice updated home. Super clean, one of the cleanest VRBOs I've stayed at. Super quiet neighborhood. Also, the house must be very well insulated as you can barely hear outside noise. Our only complaint would be the dehumidifier that is quite loud and runs almost constantly. Other than that, we'd definitely stay at the nest again if we were traveling to the area.

The perfect cute and cozy home

We came to Waynesville for my husband's basic training graduation at Fort Leonard Wood. The house was close to the base as well as stores in town. We really enjoyed our stay here. It was so much better than a hotel experience. We were able to cook/grill and relax with our soldier. The owners were very communicative and helpful. The place was clean. We are so glad we chose the Nest for our visit. Thank you Mike and Jennifer for such a pleasant stay.

Great location to fort Leonard wood. If you have plans to go for a graduation. The house felt like it was a home, very clean with all essentials included. Quiet neighborhood, nice back deck. Really couldnt have asked for a better place to stay. Thank you so much for welcoming us.

Rest at the Nest!!

This was 5plus stars! Quiet, clean, cozy, just perfect. Outside firepit, few neighbors, nothing but trees in the back. Beds comfy and very welcoming!!close to Fort Leonard wood where we went. Great food nearby. Great communication with the owners. You definitely should stay! I was there 3 nights, and enjoyed every second! Games to play books to read!

Visit with family

The Nest is Fantastic! Extremely clean, all new furniture and appliances. Sheets and towels are all great. Very nice back deck. Very quiet and peaceful.Some neighboring properties are somewhat rundown, but absolutely no noise, issues, concerns.I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful upgrade from a hotel, especially for a longer stay.We look forward to our next trip and stay at The Nest.

FLW Graduation

My family choose to stay in this beautiful clean and recently renovated home while attending Boot Camp Graduation at Fort Leonard Wood. It was minutes from the base, close to local and franchised restaurants, and quick and easy to get to from the highway.Owner left little treats, such as chocolate and a note, that made the stay feel personable.I would definitely rent from this Owner again if needed.

Cute and comfort place.

This place was really cute and made you feel relaxed. The place had everything you could ask for and the location is just man quiet area with the forest to the back of the house. The hostess awesome. We had issues with the door code and he was Johnny on helping us. It is a great place to stay if you are visoting Ft Lenard wood .

I was impressed, the house was very clean. I loved the way they have cleaning supplies on hand and left little snacks out for us. My soldier (son) got to come and get comfortable away from home before he had to return back on base.

Great Stay

The host left a kind note for us (our family is going through a difficult time) and some complimentary chocolates. There are so many homey, personal touches throughout the home. The house was very clean, and I am particular about cleanliness when staying somewhere for a trip, so that’s saying a lot! If I need a place to stay again in this area, I will certainly book this property again.

The”Nest” experience

The “Nest” was the perfect stay for 3 days while our son graduated from basic training at Fort Leonard Wood. Mike was prompt on his responses and the pictures on VRBO looked exactly as the house itself. It was nicely located within 15 minutes from the base and a lot of food options in the area. We really enjoyed that our 2 dogs could come and the fenced in backyard was perfect for them to run and play. I would definitely recommend this house if you’re looking for a place to stay while in the area. The experience was one of the best VRBO rentals we’ve stayed at. A Home Away From Home

The Nest was the perfect place, clean and homey. We were in town for my sons basic training graduation and it is just 10 minutes from Fort Leonard Wood. A curtain fell from the wall and Mike responded within the hour and arrived that evening to repair. Overall 5 starts.
