The house was perfect for our family gathering of 18ppl in early November. What we loved most about the house: every bedroom has its own bathroom, the elevator for our guests with mobility issues was key, the large main floor gathering area with plenty of seating, the game room on the first floor, double dishwashers and large fridge (key for a house this size!), and location, location, location! Several rooms have ocean views, and the beach is just steps away. The home would benefit from a little TLC and some updating (e.g. replace or remove carpets in the bedrooms). And there were a few items missing that we would have thought standard with a rental home such as no small trash cans in the bathrooms, but we were able to easily address the need. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay at Irish Blessings and would especially recommend this home for large family gatherings.

We celebrated my 80th so our whole family was together 10 adults and 11 grandchildren. They loved the pool, going to the beach and playing with their cousins.We had a few issues like the two clothes dryer not working but it was fixed the next day and the refrigerator ice maker was leaking but that also was fixed. The management uses AI so that was different but it seems to work.The house is what it looks like on the website very pretty and was clean.Thinking about doing this again in two years.I highly recommend this house and management.

Nice but could use a refresh of the basics.

We enjoyed our stay and the elevator made it convenient for the oldest and youngest to get to and from the top level. And the location and ease of getting to beach was perfect. However, We did not give 5 stars due to the lack of basic dishes(large bowls, pots and pans need to be replaced, etc) to support family meals, low water pressure throughout house, oven and dishwashers need replaced (took forever to cook anything). 2 ovens would be optimal for a house that size. Again, it is a nice house but just showing wear and tear.

Awesome

Everything from the beginning to the end of booking was fantastic. The only hiccup is the oven had a malfunction and stopped working, but management took note of it to get fixed and responded immediately. Whether it gets fixed or not, I can’t say. But all else was wonderful Will book again for sure!

It worked…

Our group spent a week at this home. Overall, the house suited our needs, but there were a few issues and a lack of attention to detail. The first night we were unable to use the grills as the propane tanks were empty. We sent in a request and received two fresh tanks the next day which was awesome. However, as the stay progressed, we began to notice some areas that showed a lack of attention to detail and/or neglect to the home. The hot tub was cloudy and there were no head rests on any of the seats which were filled with sand. Behind the hot tub was very dirty and only one of the jets worked. Wednesday our elevator stopped between two floors and we couldn’t get it to work again. We sent a message to Vacasa to have it repaired along with a couple other issues including broken slats on the bunk bed, an alarm on the oven that kept going off unless it was unplugged, a drain in one of the bathrooms that was slow to empty. My message was responded to promptly and I was told I would receive an expedited response from Vacasa to have the issues fixed, however we never heard anything back from them for the remainder of our stay. While the cleaning crew did a great job turning the house over, bathrooms were spotless, it smelled fresh, there were aspects that their hard work couldn’t fix like the carpets showed clear dirt tracks in heavy traffic areas, dinged up cabinets, wobbly cars table. It worked and we had fun, made memories, but the house is in need of updating and repair.

Wonderful Stay

Check in was easy. House was perfect for multigenerational family vacation. Clean. Had one little maintenance issue and they responded immediately. Would definitely stay in this home again.

We enjoyed our family vacation at Irish Blessings. ☘️ The house was clean and well maintained. Even had 2 washers & 2 dryers! Location was perfect for everyone. Easy, convenient beach access. Check in and check out process was simple. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

An excellent vacation

We were a family of 12 adults, 18-72, and one toddler. Everyone enjoyed themselves! The pool was wonderful, and it really helped to have an outside shower. It was a quick walk to the beach- access was two houses down. The kitchen had two refrigerators and two dishwashers, which we really needed for meals for 12. We found a leak under the main sink, and it turned out to be a faulty garbage disposal. A plumber was promptly dispatched to replace it and all was well. Bedrooms were on three different floors, so those that wanted it chilly took the lowest floor, and those that preferred it less refrigerated (me) took the top floor. All the bedrooms on the upper two floors had deck access. The hot tub wasn't great, but that's a small detail of an overall terrific stay!

Irish Blessings

Irish Blessings has a great ocean view and is an easy walk to the beach. The layout is perfect for our multi family group, as each room has its own bathroom. The best feature of this house, however, is the amazing response of the management company with each of our issues. They get 5+ stars. Their response was fast and efficient. Tony, the technician, that showed up to fix our issues is a jewel. He was friendly, helpful and went above and beyond to fix problems in the house. That being said, I feel I was generous in giving this house 3 stars. Before I begin, please note some of my concerns have been brought up in earlier reviews, but not fixed yet. The kitchen needs renovations. The stove and oven are outdated and barely working. One dishwasher still has the dispenser door broken. Water pressure in both showers and sinks is extremely low (mentioned in Dec 2020 review). One bedroom on top floor was missing the box springs. The senior citizen sleeping on that bed the first night woke up with a back ache. We called Vacasa and they fixed the problem right away. In fact, Tony brought over box springs, got under the bed to make adjustments, and then remade the bed. Two other bedrooms appeared to have soiled linen. Again, a call to Vacasa and clean linen was immediately brought over and beds remade. Leather peeling off card table chairs in the basement. One leather chair in living room broken. I would not recommend this property.

Family Christmas

A few problems at check in when we didn’t have bed linens or enough towels. It was taken care of promptly. We enjoyed the elevator, the shuffleboard court, the pool table and the hot tub. It was great to have 2 dishwashers and 2 refrigerators. The ocean views were wonderful and we saw pods of dolphins every day. It was a short walk to the beach which we enjoyed daily.

Great overall experience!

This property was fantastic and worked so well for our reunion trip. We had 12 adults and 4 infants under 2 years old. The house was big enough for everyone to have their own space and I was especially pleased with the sound-proofness of the rooms. The babies were able to stay asleep while the adults stayed up late talking in the living room or hanging at the hot tub. The house also had many kid-friendly amenities including a water table outside. Overall here's what I would tell anyone looking to rent this property: Pros: Location- basically right on the beach Lots of parking and room for activities Kitchen is huge and great for groups Tons of stuff to do inside- pool, poker, and games Cons: The elevator isn't super helpful and doesn't work like a typical elevator that you can call to any floor. It requires you to enter it on whatever floor it's currently on and travel to your intended floor. Really only good for disabled folks looking to travel without using the stairs. We found a few dirty dishes in the cabinets and some hairs in the sheets of two of the rooms but overall the location was clean and tidy. The appliances in the kitchen need updating. The stove/oven weren't super great and the dishwashers were a bit shoddy. We also had a hard time finding some stuff in the kitchen because the labels for drawers did not match up to the contents of those drawers. Overall this was a fantastic house and we would definitely book again!
