Located just down the street from Long Point Wildlife Refuge, this quaint home provides an idyllic wooded retreat for your next island vacation. Enjoy the ambience of the open living area or relax with a crisp beverage on the private deck. Designed in a unique circular architecture, the Lemonade Stand provides a cozy place to rest your head after days filled with adventure. The high-speed WiFi is ideal for streaming your favorite show on the flatscreen TV. A full kitchen has all you need to create your favorite meals or snacks. Discover the thriving heart of Martha’s Vineyard from your wonderfully located abode. One of the many amazing perks of renting this home is that as a West Tisbury Renter, you will be able to gain access to Lambert's Cove Beach, arguably the most stunning beach on the entire Island (a pass needs to be purchased, see town website for details).

My wife and I were in Martha’s Vineyard to visit our son. We didn’t need a lot of bedrooms, but we did need a well-stocked kitchen and a comfortable gathering space. This house was perfect for us! Our dogs loved the quiet location on the edge of the woods.

Quiet and Beautiful

The peaceful woodland setting is just beautiful! Enjoyed a quiet stay in this spacious one bedroom house. The porch wraps around entire house and made our morning coffee and breakfast feel very special. Would have enjoyed a speaker system of some sort to plug our music into, but otherwise the place is nicely appointed.

Cozy and quiet yet close to it all!

We had a fantastic stay at this property—it’s clean, bright, and welcoming! The bed and pullout were comfortable and the house was spacious and well-appointed. It was a great, quiet location on the center of the island but no more than a 15 minute drive to all we wanted to see and do. It was so nice drinking a coffee on the deck and listening to the nature.We had a minor issue with check-in and Vacasa wasn’t great about helping. We also had a minor internet issue and the owner answered in seconds and it was resolved. Again, great stay, location, and property! Highly recommend!

Cute place!

Loved the location. Great spot. Hard to find at night, make sure you don’t use Waze as you’ll get misdirected. Kitchen is well appointed but there aren’t any leftover food supplies like coffee or sugar, so make sure you grab your own. You may need to bring an extra towel or two. But there were two towels for us. Overall, great spot. I’d love to come here in summer!

SWEET LEMONADE!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this property. Easy to find, down a well-maintained dirt road. Check-in was a breeze. Private and quiet. The woods surrounding the property were peaceful and welcome. Deer in the front yard, turkeys in the back, rabbits all around. Super clean and comfy! Weather was spectacular affording many walking opportunities both from and near this rental. Biking would be a plus. Have been renting in April on MV for years...this new location is a prize winner!

Serenity

Designed and constructed extravagantly, this guest house with its bright surround glass walls, airy, with its 20 foot or so ceiling peak, abundant space and total privacy from the main house gave us several days of blissful relaxation. Its close proximity to Long Point Reservation, one of the top island gems is a bonus. The house has a wrap around porch with roof overhang sections both covered and open so one can sit outside in warmer weather in rain or sun. The floor radiant heat is particularly cozy on the feet. When we had a problem with a smoke detector beeping its low battery signal, the owner arrived in minutes to take care of it. It has a full size kitchen with plenty of counter space for food preparation. The living area and kitchen are spacious enough for a fairly large party of people. It was abundant for just my wife and I. We have been visiting the island continuously for over 55 years and have rented many, many houses. In the summer we rent larger to entertain family, but when it is just the two of us, this special place would top our list.

More than met our needs

Property was nice and private, tucked away off of main roads and peacefully quiet. Overall a beautiful property and was everything we needed for purpose of our stay (work-related). Pictures online were slightly deceiving, but the house is quite nice. The house could have been a little cleaner on arrival, particularly the bath tub and floors. It would have been very nice if a few cleaning products (like surface cleaner) were provided to help keep the place tidy during our stay. The trash barrels outside were full when we arrived, so properly disposing of our trash at the end of the week was not possible .The kitchen was slightly understocked but fine if you're not doing involved food prep. Only two rolls of toilet paper were provided for the week, but according to the owner, more was stashed under the basement stairs (where we didn't think to look). Providing a couple more rolls would have been ideal. We would absolutely stay again and recommend to others. Next time, I'll know what else I should pack!

The Lemonade Stand was the perfect Vineyard home for our weekend visit for a fall family wedding. We selected it for the West Tisbury location, and were so pleasantly surprised how lovely, clean and cozy it was. The king size bed and linens were very comfortable.

Highly recommend

My family and I stayed here for a few nights and we had a wonderful stay. The house was spotless, check-in was super easy, and the owners/property management were available if needed. The cottage is located a couple miles down a narrow dirt road, so watch your car from getting scratched by branches trying to maneuver past oncoming cars. But part of the charm is its secluded location and bright starry night sky. The locks on the doors were a bit tricky and I often found myself spending several minutes trying to get them open. However, it did not deter from the stay at all. I would definitely recommend this location to single travelers, a couple, or a small family. It is a perfect Vineyard getaway.

Getting Away From It All!

Great location with no functioning oven

Check in process was smooth. The property was in a great area, very private, and in decent condition. The rug in the living needed a deep clean. The oven didn’t work while we were there. We called management twice and nothing was done. It was disappointing. There’s no door to the basement so we had bugs coming into the house through the basement. The front door lock was broken so we couldn’t lock it when we left the house. There was no grill to be found. Some of the windows were missing screens so we couldn’t open the windows to let in fresh air, particularly on those hot days. No air conditioning in the living room. Overall, it was a decent rental. I wouldn’t come back unless some of these issues are fixed.

It is a charming place, but there were a few issues.

1) The home had carpenter ants. They were even in our bed. We put traps out, and that helped somewhat, but the home needs to be treated. 2) The exposed plug above the microwave was hot and shocked the manager. The stove did not work.

Cute house. Had to spend the first hour picking up ant and rodent poison. (Not dog friendly). AC in bedroom good only for that one room. The rest of the house Hot! “Carpet/throw” in main room very slippery (dangerous). Stove worked. But oven did not. One set of the double doors did not latch. So not really fully locked. One window has broken lock. So also makes the house not really fully secure. Property management was on the deck at 8:15 AM. Not nice way to start a vacation with someone on the deck first thing in the morning and no window coverings to keep it private.

A lovely forest retreat with some growing pains

Overall we loved our stay at the Lemonade Stand. The home is light and airy, and it was wonderful to sit on the wraparound porch watching the light come through the oak trees. The 2-mile path through Long Point to the ocean is wonderful, ideal for runners, hikers and bikers (but if you plan to drive there be sure to get a parking pass ahead of time!). It seems like this is a new rental, as there are a few outstanding issues. There was a pretty bad ant infestation when we were there, with large ants crawling all over the bathroom and kitchen. There were also ant traps and dead ants in every corner. Our boys are older so it wasn’t a huge issue, but If they were still young enough to be crawling or playing on the floor we would have had to leave. Some appliances did not work, and while very well-stocked with new pots, pans and dishes there weren’t any spices or condiments as you might see in a more “seasoned” rental. Overall we’d stay in this place again thanks to the lovely location, central site on the island and spacious building.

Perfect friend getaway home

This was such a serene, perfect getaway for a relaxing friend weekend! It is cozy and suited our needs all around! We rented a car because it is a remote location but we really enjoyed that it is a very short ride to a beach down the street and it’s also very easy to drive around the Vineyard to get to wherever you want to go! It was private and nature is all around. It was great to sit on the porch and catch up with friends! The Lemonade Stand is just as the listing appears and we all really enjoyed our time there! I would recommend this to others looking for relaxation in a peaceful setting!
